We rented 3 rooms for 12 people during our wedding week end in Madrid. The location is ideal and next to all amenities (supermarket, restaurant, palacio reial, plaza del sol...). Rooms were big and we had everything we needed in the kitchen or bathroom. Staff was extremely helpful and welcoming part was short (which is good when you want to...

It is not at all easy to find the right place to stay in Madrid. The hotels are generally expensive with small rooms and the apartments are often untidy or charge for everything extra. After a long "meditation" we chose Apartamentos Madrid. It had all we needed: enough space, good beds, good kitchen and a best possible situation between Plaza...

The apartment was small but clean , it had all the facilities one can think of. Including washing machine and other house appliances. I was there on business trip and stayed for almost a month. The apartment is well located , next to Vodafone sol and 5mins walk from metro station.

Nice place, charming style and having all the amenities that i look for, it has been a good trip and the services of this hotel made it better. Briefly, the views (through the windows) simply took my breath, can't wait for another occasion!

The appartment is far of beeing like in the photos, poor decorated, minimum thingsin it and not clean! There is a strange smell, even after opening the...

We stayed in this hotel for three rainy nights in November at the end of two weeks in Spain.Madrid was our least favorite city by a longshot so that might have colored our experience at the hotel.this was a reasonably long taxi ride from the airport and we arrived after dark and thought that we had been dropped off in...

We booked an apartment through Apartamentos Madrid. We booked Atico Junior Summer Pool top floor apartment 2 months before the booking and at the last minute (4 days before we were due to arrive) they said it was "broken" and we got given La Latina Junior instead. When we arrived to pay there were knowing looks when I again asked...

Apartamentos are located in the heart of Madrid - one minute walk from Puerta del Sol and calle de Atocha. Our studio was located in calle de la Paz. Though it's a very quiet street, madrilenos make it very noisy at night - they laugh, cry, shout till 5 a.m in the morning. So, don't forget to bring your ear...

Very good price and location, just a 3-minute walk to the Plaza del Sol, 5 minutes to Plaza Mayor and 10min to Grand Via. Rooms were clean and quiet as we had them away from the street. They let us do a later check out and then to leave our bags in there storage room, which I appreciated too, I...

Staying in Huertas

Neighborhood Profile
Also known as Barrio de las Letras, Huertas was once home to prominent literary figures, Miguel de Cervantes and Lope de Vega among them. The neighborhood is committed to celebrating its rich heritage: Calle Huertas itself is inlaid with quotes from celebrated authors, street names pay homage to them, and second-hand bookshops pervade. Huertas receives a fair amount of spillover from the center — side streets around Plaza Santa Ana take on a foreign party atmosphere at night, and you always see young backpackers navigating the streets — but as you descend into the neighborhood, everything becomes a little more cramped and slightly less refined, and takes on more of an underground feel. Live music is at the heart of Huertas: by night, its subdued bars are ideal for meeting friends, sipping cocktails, and chatting quietly while enjoying jazz or singer-songwriter performances.
