Arrived on RENFE from Sarria on Sat. evening to a busy Madrid. All hotels near Chamartin were full (completo). Went to the busses outside Barajas to try to find some place to stay. One driver told me Los Coronales is good, he made a call, soon the little red bus came for me. I was so happy to have such...

My friend and I were stranded at the airport at 3am and were helped to find this hotel by the airport staff. We paid £65 for a double room with no breakfast (ouch) But the hotel was spotless and well maintained. Staff were super friendly and warm. Free pickup and drop off airport shuttle. Free wifi in rooms. Great shower...

First, I want to tell TripAdvisor that a Spanish hostal is NOT a hostel. No dorms. The term "hostal" in Spain means a hotel that offers no dining facilities other than breakfast. Coronales is a hotel, not a hostel. This is a basic stopover with shuttle service to the airport. Excellent value for money, and very convenient. The breakfast buffet...

Just went on spec due to poor flight planning on my part and a dozen hours to kill. Close to the airport, fairly priced rack rates and convenient if you want a quick trip (train close by) to the centre of Madrid and a clean room within ten minutes of the airport. Good clean rooms, friendly staff, good shuttle service...

I got to stay here because of a good price offer for my travel date, besides the recommendations online were pretty much in favor... So overall, there are many good things about the hostel. It's close to the airport, there's free transfer to/from the airport, the rooms are clean (I absolutely loved the cozy design, it just made me feel...

Two years in a row, in early October, I arrived in the late afternoon at the Madrid Airport, needing a place to sleep for the night before an early morning flight out of Madrid; and both times The Traveler's Aid reps suggested Hostel Los Coronales. I am very grateful for these suggestions as both years, Los Coronales suited my needs...

I got stuck in Madrid on a 12 hr layover and Iberia booked the room for me. A basic room with sketchy a/c but I was tired and it's close to the airport with a free shuttle service to the airport. And 5€extra for breakfast not too bad.
