We booked this hotel for our stay in Madrid, and it was perfect! The hotel is beautiful and very conveniently located next to the Prado museum and in a easy walk of Plaza Mayor, restaurants and shops. Breakfast was excellent and the staff was outstanding! The hotel staff was extremely accommodating to our family of 4; since the rooms only sleep 2, they arranged side-by-side rooms in the corner of a hallway with a hall door that isolated us. My husband and I were able to rest easily knowing the kids were safe. They also had one of our rooms ready for our early morning arrival. After a trans-Atlantic flight, it was wonderful to be able to rest for a few hours! We will definitely use this hotel WHEN we return to Madrid!

I can’t speak to the food as we slept in And were out touring everyday. But the hotel is very nicely located within short walks to attractions. Very clean and comfortable. This is a boutique hotel so expect smaller rooms but nice size and decent bathroom size too. I look forward to a return. Note I was in a deluxe room

I cannot understand the poor reviews The hotel is in an ideal location, close to transportation, restaurants, bars, etc... The hotel is on a quiet side street, so there is no noise as we had a beautiful room to the front of the building with a balcony. Room was immaculate and a good size with lots of natural light. Staff was extremely gracious. Did not eat dinner here, but breakfast was very good.

I am typing this on a work desk that is less than 18 inches deep and less than 3 feet wide.. I have no easy chair other than a hard offce chair. How do I relax and watch TV - lie on the bed the bottom of which is 2 feet from the TV. I have no minibar in which to store my temperature sensitive drugs (OK my fault for not checking). I have had to have an engineer to reset the aircon because it was set to 22 degrees in reception. My Hilton profile is "high floor" - I am on floor 1 despite checking in at 14.00. Dare I mention the room is well over 200 euros. The bar downstairs all smiley faces but oh so slow. To top it all my travelling companions checked in after me and got an upgrade. I would have liked to have reviewed the expensive rooms but I nickle and dimned. Beware the cheap rooms are not worth a nickle. Yes, you guessed it, a grumpy Diamond Member.

Dear Michael024, Thank you for sharing your recent stay with the TripAdvisor community. I'm displeased to read that we did not met your expectations. We have different kinds of rooms, and its sizes may be very different. You had a queen standard room booked which is between 16 to 21 square meters without the toilet. About the aircon, it's always set on 22 degrees in winter but it is true that the temperature was inusual hote during your stay, anyways you can change the temperature from your room aswell. About room upgrades, as you know this is under availability and maybe your companions received one based on nights or other preferences. Next time you visit Madrid, write me an email and I will arrange a WOW stay for you. Adrian Estevez adrian.estevez@hilton.com

Small rooms, not a great mattress. Poor service, young, inexperienced and slow. Worst part was the restaurant, careful with the sushi and the low level of higiene handling the food!! I’m not surprised Hilton has not a very good reputation in Spain.

Dear V2409QRjuanm, Thank you for sharing your comments. First, I would like to apologize as we did not met your expectations. Second, I want to bring some light to your comments: 1- The room size depends on the room you have booked, and we have many options. 2- The mattress is the same in every Hilton around the world. 3- We have many employees, some of them are learning and they will become experienced and fast, but everybody has a starting. 4-Our restaurant is well valued and managed by Kabuki group, which has Michelin stars, so they really take care of the higiene. Of course, we will take care of your comments in order to improve our guest experience. Regards,
