If I had written this review on my arrival it would have been a "poor" or even "terrible" but a friend and I stayed the full three days (we were talking about bailing out but they take the money up front on registering) and, as I say above, it grows on you. Let's get the worst out of the way...

Set in the middle of Gibraltar, right on Main Street, location is the biggest selling point for this hotel as it is very dated!! Saying this, it's reasonably priced and clean. So if you don't plan of spending your visit indoors I wouldn't let the decor put you off!

This is a budget hotel, I stayed for three nights but would not return. Room on the second floor which is actually the third, the lift goes up to floor two and there are a few stairs and a corridor to the room. Less than spacious, no net curtains at the windows. The restaurant is not in the hotel itself...

Stayed for a week in Jan 2017 on a working trip.Weather in Jan better than UK, but not such that I can vouch for the air-con! My room had an oil filled radiator, at night that probably saved my life! (my work mate had no such 'luxury', described his room as 'a bit nippy!') The windows are of the moving...

It's fine for a weeks stay but the place looks like the Victorian times with little to eat at breakfast but the pools nice and the staff are friendly with a decent TV and the lift are fine but I advise to be careful and don't lock your key in your room and this place is a little pricey but...

As all seasoned travelers know Gibraltar is a place different of times(as in history) ! And this lovely blast from the past is deffinately from the 70's, although the hotel dates from over 100 years ago, looks like its last make over was pre Thatcher! I'm actually only describing the decor( it has free wifi , sat TV and hot...

Staff lovely location fab! Very Clean ! In need of a freshen up but not bad for the price weve just been Jan 2017! Breakfast could do with a few more choices of cereal, and maybe breads, no fresh fruit that would be good too !

Lovely building, great central location, parked right outside, good size room, needs updating, bathroom very old but nice and hot water. Lovely view from the bedroom. WIFI in the reception area, loved the vending machine with G&T's in it. The place does need a re vamp but nice.

Booked into the hotel while working in Gibraltar. From a simple persepctive its a basic functional hotel, staff are on the whole helpful, and pleasant. As a base for work it was fine, single beds were just about comfortable, room was old, decor dated and the bathroom was well past its hey-day, in saying that there was plenty of hot...
