Where do I begin? I normally feel bad about leave a bad review but today is another day. The bathroom was barely large enough to turn around in. The shower/tub combination took up so much space in the bathroom you cannot stand in front of the mirror. There was a plastic grocery bag covering the smoke detector because the people...

In Gibraltar all hotels are expensive but if you are after a budget hotel the Bristol is certainly the one. Located less than 20 seconds from the main street (and it is flat so no hills like a few hotels). Restaurants and shops are in abundance here and said taxi rank outside the hotel entrance for those wishing or unable...

We were forced to stay at the Bristol after our plane was grounded in Gibraltar. The staff were friendly and helpful yes, no argument there. The place is so dated and in need of a major refurb. The room was clean and the bathroom also clean but what happened to tea and coffee making facilities, bottled water and bath sheets!!!...

This hotel is very and I mean very centrally located on Cathedral Square just off Main St which is the main pedestriansed drag in town. The building is a lovely Georgian looking bulding and has a very pleasant exterior, the interior is very dated though. All the public areas and corridors are cladded with wood panelling making them very dark,...

Really surprised with the Bristol, after reading some reviews we were a bit concerned. Okay, it is a bit dated, but a superb location, excellent staff and comfortable rooms, continental breakfast proved very adequate, will definitely use again.

We stayed at the Bristol for 2 weeks. It was retro heaven. Yes it is dated, but it is very clean, has good hot showers and comfy beds. The staff are friendly and although breakfast is Basic it's good.

As they say you get what you pay for, room 112 overlooked the Gib Museum gardens and out toward Algeciras Bay. Comfortable if a little tired accommodation but lots of character as you would expect for an 100 year old hotel. We will back again this time next year!

The marble glints in the sunlight on arrival though deeper reality reveals the better days are past for some of the current facilities. However, for staying on the rock this is ideal. It's a short walk to the cable car boarding hut, from there you can visit the famous minkeys as Inspector Cloussou once said. The staff will greet &...
