The Caletta is in a lovely location just above a sandy beach, but it is out of town, so you are dependant on the bus (which comes about every 15 minutes if you are lucky) or on taxis. The room was a reasonable size, but with slightly limited hanging / drawer space, the beds were comfortable, and the free slippers...

Another very enjoyable stay at the Caleta. Amazing sea view, and one morning we were delighted to see dolphins from our balcony which we have never seen before when staying here. No balcony monkeys either since their numbers have been reduced, The new bar and bistro area are very nice, quite quiet during our stay but suited us fine. We...

The communal areas of the hotel are quite grand and nicely furnished. The room we were given was fairly large but was not a regular shape which resulted in very little space between the end of the bed and the wardrobe and several toe stubbings. The balcony was a disappointment, room for only one person, which was a shame because...

Gibraltar was great, out first visit for nearly 50 years, we had a great time reminiscing, we lived there for over three years. The Caleta Hotel was the only disappointment. It didn't spoil our break as we only wanted somewhere to sleep and shower etc. The room was just about ok but a bit scruffy, the water was at best...

While we were there a chess convention was on which did not affect us whatsoever. Rimms nice and clean and Brian the hotel manager was great. I also...

We stayed here with friends, totaling 3 rooms for a Friday night. All 3 rooms were different but all were nice. The ocean view can't be beat--even if you live on the ocean at home! The small balcony is just big enough for 3-4 chairs and relaxing. The rooms themselves were spacious. The bar downstairs had a small band during...

We visited here between the 8-15 feb 2015 to celebrate our anniversary. We booked a deluxe sea view room. Lovely large room with a super king bed, sofa, balcony and all the usual amenities. Dressing gown and slippers were a nice touch. The bathroom was a decent size but could do with updating. Rust spots in the bath are never...
