Had 3 nights here in room 422 and would happily have stayed a few more! I really don't know where to begin to tell you what I loved about this hotel but I will start with the atmosphere which was so easy and somehow the place was just happy! I loved the original decor and it just suited the building...

Stayed in November 2014 for one night only, managed to park just outside the front entrance so that was great. Reception staff fine and confirmed our booking (via Booking.com), given our room keys. No lift in our half of the hotel so if you are unable to climb stairs this could be a problem. Room was a double delux with...

We stayed at the Caleta in November 2014 for five nights. My friend and I decided on this hotel as we were fishing from the shore and boats whilst staying in Gibraltar, and our wives came along to enjoy Gib and the shopping, spas and to chill out. The hotel is about to be revamped, and to be honest it...

The Caleta Hotel is presently under construction to make way for a 5 star luxury hotel, and apartments. It is listed as a 4 star hotel, but that does not apply to its' present state. Clearly maintenance has been put off as construction is ongoing. As an example, the carpet is a bit worn, and stained. That said, the service...

We have just returned from a four-night stay at this hotel. This was our fourth visit, so it is obvious that we have been pleased with the hotel in the past. The positives first, the room was good, (after having to change rooms, the first one they offered us had a balcony about three feet long), and the view from...

We stayed here for a night out of necessity. It was absolutely average and SO not worth the cost compared to what you could get in Spain at a fraction of the price. The minibar was super expensive with tiny little drinks. The balcony was fine but only one chair and rotted out wicker table. The bed was comfy but...

This is our fourth visit and we have never been disappointed. The owner's invest money in this hotel and this year's addition was an excellent smart tv including sky channels so if your favourite team is on sky sports during your stay you need go no further than your very comfortable bedroom. The view from the window is great and...

We arrived at 10pm after a long transfer from Malaga airport. There was seven of us, and so we were hoping that we may have got in just before the hotel restaurant's last orders. Despite the very helpful front desk staff asking the restaurant , it was too late. We were offered sandwiches at the bar but we decided to...

I have had the pleasure of staying in this hotel since the late 70's..........but ...........like an old girlfriend that covers up the wrinkles..........she is definately showing her age! Yes the hotel has wonderful views, has wonderful staff, a great history and great plans for the future but are the guests staying now being shortchanged? The exterior has lost its style...

My sister booked us for a four day stay to use as a base while visiting relatives. Room was lovely with wonderful sea views, very comfy bed great shower and a large tv. Breakfast was delicious (full English). We also had afternoon tea with the biggest scones I have ever had, this was again delicious. Staff were great and very...
