We stopped at this hotel for 2 nights ,room clean and very tidy, staff were first class, still some building work going on.. I would stop here again. Fantastic sea views,The hotel is not near the main town, bus fares are reasonable ,2 bus routes a no 4 and no 8 ,cost of taxis around £8.00

The Hotel is in a fantastic location, situated in Caleta bay, a fishing area with a small beach. It is far enough away from the hustle and bustle of the centre, but near enough via a bus stop outside the hotel to reach town. My wife and I stayed Monday to Friday in January for a relaxing winter break. We...

My husband and I wanted a nice hotel to relax for 5 days winter sunshine. The hotel is nice, our room had not been refurbished yet and is a bit tired, but the bed was comfy and it had everything you could need. We ate in both the restaurants, and loved both of them. We also tried the couples spa...

Staff is not friendly and not helpfull. For business we used agent to arrange hotel and we were treated the old english colonial way. Rooms are in poor condition. We stayed for a few hours and payed 138 ponds per room. Food was medium, service in restaurant was good.

This was virtually the only hotel left in Gib with vacancies as it was the NATIONAL DAY weekend. After arriving at Gibraltar biggest problem encountered was the severe lack of taxis at the airport entrance. Eventually we arrived at the hotel and were met with a very enthusiastic reception staff member full of smiles and seemed very happy to welcome...

Great location for a Hotel, tucked away at the back of the Gibraltar in the Catalan Bay area. Beautiful, old fashioned Hotel which is currently being tidied up so it does have lots of scaffolding around. Our room was unaffected so we had a glorious view of the sea and our own private balcony. The staff are amazing, can't do...

We had a one night stay at the Caleta Hotel, and it was a bit rough on the edges. This is a older hotel which needs a bit of work if it is to be worth the price you pay here. The room quality was below average, with our room in pretty bad shape (bathroom door not able to close...

The Caleta was fully deserving of 4* inside but outside (masonry and canopy) are aged and need work on them. Canopy's in a poor state and not a good approach to the hotel. I was comfortable and have no complaints, though a few mix-ups at breakfast, including being told I wasn't entitled to it on my third day (embarrassing!). If...

Stayed at the Caleta about 3 years ago and could not complain. Yes, like some reviews state it needed a bit of TLC but when you think how old the place is, how many guests they have through the doors, there's no wonder it's a bit 'battered'!! But what do people expect? When I look round my house it is...

Really it is only minutes away from the town, but it is much quieter, with great Easterly views across the Mediterranean and right under the higher points of the Rock which soars above. The hotel rooms are spacious, Beds are comfortable. Wifi is fast.Breakfast is OK. Nunos restaurante is excellent.
