We had a corner room on the 7th floor giving us a beautiful view over the city and to the bay. Room was very clean and had a good size bathroom & shower. No hooks in the bathroom to hang your clothes nor rehang your towel to indicate to the maid you are willing to use it again. The breakfast buffet has a very large selection of food, but several disappointments. We were there 4 days: - Only one person ever working in the restaurant, and their primary focus is to clear empty tables - not offer any service nor remove used plates from our table. - The coffee is from a machine and is horrible. We tried café con leche, Americano and expresso - all bad. - The scrambled eggs and basted eggs sit in a warmer, untouched and not refreshed. There is a bit of a crust on top of the scrambled eggs. Both the scrambled and basted eggs were cold. During the hour we sat for breakfast on the first 3 days, nobody ever stirred the eggs or replaced the basted eggs. Day 4 was busier and some new eggs did appear. - The toaster for the bread has two shelves with cooking elements at the top, middle and bottom. But the top and middle ones were both broken - all 4 days - meaning only the bottom shelf worked and you had to turn your bread over to get the other side toasted.

Stayed for one night on the way to Santiago de Compostela and chose this hotel as it is very close to the Railway Station. Nice room on the 6th floor with a nice big bathroom and great walk-in shower, and some nice toiletries (comb, toothbrush and shoe-horn). The room was tastefully furnished, clean and comfortable. The roof terrace has a lovely Gym, but the hotel does not have a Bar. We made the big mistake of eating in the hotel restaurant in the evening, the food was really horrible and the service poor. Everything had been microwaved, or fried to a crisp and I was not looking forward to breakfast the following day, but I was pleasantly surprised by the choice and quality.

Thank you for your comments, we regret that you did not like the restaurant. The food is bought and made daily with market products. It is not precooked or microwave.

Stayed here in transit for a night on our way back from a business trip in near by Ourense. Hotel Zenit is a solid option in Vigo. The location is awesome. Close to shopping and the old town - which has some really special restaurants and bars that offer a glimpse into life in Vigo. The hotel is a healthy walk away from the Harbor - as a New Yorker, I loved being able to explore. My early morning walk was quite special. My room was quite small, but was modern and clean. The bathroom was good. Small - but with a nice shower! Breakfast was decent. Checking in and out was easy and the service was friendly and professional. Should I return to Vigo, Hotel Zenit would be one that I would consider again.
