We booked here as they offer free car parking which was both underground and on street level. Beware street leading to hotel is narrow and steep so large 4x4/vans need to be careful not to scrape thier vehicle on entering and leaving. Car parking for guests i complimentary. We got a great rate of 39 euros. Bedroom was clean, spacious and modern and location was a 10 minute walk from town. Check in and Check out was quick and efficient and we were always greeted with a smile. Will definitely stay again
Hotel is in a good location, just outside the old city of Santiago de Compostella. Hotel is on the side of a hill. Pedestrian/car access to the city is therefore steep but there are beautiful views from the hotel's windows. Having free parking on site for hotel guests is a boon. The hotel room was quite large by city standards. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom was modern. Our room was at the back of the hotel, overlooking the school football pitches. There was some noise from these, as children were being given football coaching, which continued until quite late at night, with floodlights on too. However, there were also beautiful views from the room's windows. You could request a quieter room at the front, overlooking the car park if you are bothered by noise but of course there would not be the great view. Breakfast consisted of a small buffet, which provided all necessities: fresh and tinned fruit, yoghurt, cereal, ham and cheese, baked goods, juice, hot drinks. There did seem to be a bit of a problem with damp in some of the hotel rooms. The corridor smelled musty, our bathroom became very wet while we were out during the day and a dehumidifier was being used in one room. However, the staff reacted quickly when we reported the problem in our bathroom. The staff were very helpful and efficient.…
My canadian friend and I spent a couple of nights here before starting our Camino Walk. had a welcoming smile from the lady at reception and she even helped us with our luggage to our rooms. Good location for the cathedral ( even if it is a little up hill) and nice view of th Monastry from our room. Enjoyed the breakfast. Roome were clean and comfortab;e. Would stay here again.
Friendly staff, well proportioned rooms, well fitted out (includes air con), 10 minutes from cathedral square, plenty of bars round about. Well managed, quiet and comfortable. I would return. Breakfast basic but fine.
Nice little hotel to stay in after we finished the Camino. A little out the old town but was quieter than ones in the centre. Hotel did not have an elevator which was a bit annoying when we had to carry our suitcases to the upper floors after a long and tiring day. Pleasantly surprised by the rooms though - relatively large and very clean. Beds were comfortable and a large shower area. Staff at this hotel were very helpful and pointed out places of interest to us. They were even able to store our luggage for the day while we went out exploring Santiago. So thank you!
