Personal incheck procedure and all the help you want. Free water in the fridge and a very large room with a modern bathroom. Breakfast was great so were the staff. Has only 12 rooms and is close to the centre! Loved this place! Great ending of our camino!

Finding a hotel in a new city can be hit and miss. This time we hit the jackpot. The Altair is in an old building that has been sensitively restored combining the old with the new. Think rough stone walls and modern artwork. Rooms are spacious and comfortable with all amenities. The hotel is a short walk to the historical city centre but is quiet. Best of all - the staff are friendly and professional, happy to assist with any query. Excellent value for money and highly recommended.

Great boutique hotel just a short walk to the centre of the old town with the cathedral, bars and restaurants. The hotel is in superb condition, comfy beds, invigorating shower. You can tell the hotel is well looked after. The staff are extremely friendly, welcoming and helpful. Would definitely recommend to all.

We stayed 2 nights here and the hotel is a gorgeous boutique style hotel. We were driving and although there is no parking at the hotel there is a car park near by which gives a special rate with the hotel of 14 euro per day. We had two rooms as our son was with us, both lovely. The laundry option was very good value ( 10 euro for a ten kilo bag, washed and folded) and we took full advantage of this. The breakfast was lovely, plentiful and the coffee very good. The service and recommendations from the hotel were excellent. An easy walk into the old centre of the town also. Very nice bar and restaurants available just around the corner also.

We had a good 3 night stay at Altair, and appreciated very good staff and service. The hotel is modern, clean and lovely, though our rooms were quite small. Windows open and in July at least the street was not very noisy. The hotel has air conditioning, but it's an odd system by American standards...if a window somewhere is open, the system draws that air in and makes the a/c less cold. We didn't understand this until we spent a hot night in our room. The staff was upset to hear this, as they are on duty 24 hours and we should have called them for help! The issue was resolved easily, had we only known ! The hotel was very responsive and we learned something. They offered us a free breakfast (lovely) and I'd recommend including this in your room booking. The other hotel owned by this group is across the street and has a lovely courtyard/ cafe but no a/c.
