This hotel was beyond wonderful. MARTIN at the front desk was so accommodating, the breakfasts and dinner were so delicious... it’s a boutique hotel with class and grace and some rooms with a view looking right at the cathedral. The restaurant garden is a hidden magical hideaway... the entire staff friendly and flexible. Had fava beans and scallops for dinner one night....mmmmmm. Wow. I’m back here in a minute.

Hotel located near the Cathedral in the old part of Santiago. Very friendly staff. Got a huge room at the top floor. We had a peek to the cathedral. The hotel has a nice backyard where you can enjoy, dinner or just a glass of wine. We gladly recommend it.

We stayed at the hotel for one night ending the Camino Primitivo and continuing on the way to Fisterra. We got a room on the 3 floor with a marvelous view over the City and the mountains. We even had our ovn little bay window to open. We had a magnificent lunch at the restaurant at the1. floor. Very friendly staff speaking english. Highly recommended. San Miguel is excellently located in the old town of Santiago- we had actively considered a number of alternatives- parador, Pombal, Bonaval, but finally settled on San Miguel and very happy with the choice. Lovely large rooms, with excellent bathrooms. Ate in the restaurant 1/2 nights and very happy that we did- good local wine choices, good value, lived up to its title gastronomico. A very good breakfast- fresh orange, barrista coffee, crosissants a little disappointing.

Really enjoyed our two night stay here; due in part to very helpful and fluent English speaking staff. We enjoyed well presented breakfasts, with good, healthy food options, and had a fantastic dinner in the garden one evening. Excellent value in terms of the high standard of accommodation and food provided.
