I stayed there on my last day in Santiago on May 25th/26th, and it was the perfect ending of my Camino Frances walk. The owner, Margarita, is very friendly and welcoming. I had a great vegetable soup in the court yard (Camino food tends to be low on veggies). I was at peace there. If I visit Santiago again (I might do the Camino Portugues), I'll stay there again.

Stayed here after walking part of the Camino. It was a wonderful experience! Rooms were very comfortable and inviting with a full sized bathroom. Margarita and her husband were so kind and helpful! They went out of their way to make our visit easy by helping arrange tours, airport cabs and recommending great places to eat. In the lovely bar area you can get a nice breakfast with great coffee in the morning and a glass of wine or cocktail in the evening. I would stay there again in a heartbeat!

My friend Matteo and I stayed here on July 15 upon arriving in Santiago after several weeks on the Camino. The kindness and friendliness of the owners could not be overstated, we were treated like family from the moment we set foot in As Margaritas. We loved the room, which was clean and inviting. After weeks of sleeping in dormitories, it was so refreshing to have a private bath and clean bedsheets. The lady of the house was so friendly, and she mixes a mean tinto de verano, complete with freshly sliced citrus. Her husband was equally friendly, and although we didn't use the terrace, it was very spacious and inviting. Lastly, the price couldn't be beat, only 60 Euros for the 2 of us. Please stop in for a stay, you won't regret it.
