We enjoyed a superb wedding celebration here, and with impeccable planning. The organisation from arrival through to the dinner and dancing was top class and extremely well presented. The canapés and dinner were very special, and all the staff were excellent at their roles. The grounds were beautifully prepared and the whole layout is ideal for such an event. The...

Our daughter and her husband held their wedding reception here and many of the family stayed overnight. One couldn't imagine a nicer place or more helpful staff. The location is beautiful. The drinks and canapes before the meal were outstanding as was the amount of quality of the food for the meal. Our room was cosy and comfortable. This place...

This should be a wonderful hotel and the inside is fabulous as is the food. Our stay however was spoilt by the noise of traffic from the adjacent road which started early and included heavy lorries passing by. We were woken early and could not sleep. It is not constant but the intermitent vehicle noise meant we lost too much sleep...

As other reviewers have said, this hotel is a beautifully modernised ancient rectory, complete with its own church. Maria, our hostess, was very helpful and welcoming. Our room was large and bright - but it was at the front of the hotel facing the road. Even though the hotel is very remote, the road got a fair bit of early...

What a lovely place this turned out to be. We had a difficult time trying to find it though, as our GPS would not accept the address listed. Maria, the lady that greeted us, was outstanding. She was always there to answer any questions. She really makes this place feel welcoming. Louis, our waiter, was sensational as well. He brought...

Amazingly restored monastery in rural Galicia which is in a gorgeous location, immaculate and very accommodating. The owner even drove us into town and showed us the best places to drink and eat. Great wine list and definitely a must. Free wifi to help you mee in touch.

The Rectoral de Cines is a charming old rectory, constructed from large granite and stone blocks. The decor is a mixture of modern and traditional which works very well within this rustic hotel. Our room was elegant, spacious and clean. However, it is the friendly nature of the staff that is the hotel's best feature. Despite the late hour of...

The hotel in itself is very nice, beautiful grounds, heritage building with lots of character. The people running it are very friendly and attentive. The room we were offered was on the main ground, it was old and smelled of mold. The room initially was very dusty and not very clean, they cleaned it immediately after we mentioned it, but...
