We had a great time at the Hotel Brummell, and enjoyed the pleasant, clean rooms and public area, al fresco dining in the mornings, and proximity to public transportation, Montjuic, the Gothic Quarter and more. I would definitely stay here again if in Barcelona.

Very small clean trendy hotel with a very small pool, sauna for two that can only be used by two at a time, no balcony, restaurant is not affiliated with hotel so you can not charge meals to your room, staff was very friendly and helpful, area was not nice at all, surrounding streets were dirty, hundreds of restaurants almost all selling the same foods, not alot of variety. Over all the price of the room was very high for the value and low amenities.

We enjoyed this boutique hotel near Montjuic. Easy to get to other parts of town and fun to explore the mountain. Breakfast in the courtyard was delightful. Our room had a Mountain View and was spacious for the price. The bed was comfortable. Hallway a little cramped but not a big deal.

Great little hotel in Barcelona. Good location, friendly staff. Very small rooms though. My husband and I stayed here twice during our summer vacation. A bit pricey for the size of the rooms. I chose it for its ability to cater to our vegan diet. Vegan breakfast option was great. However kitchen staff made a mistake the second day and served us real milk instead of oatmilk. My tummy was not happy about that. And worst of all, hotel did not comp the breakfast after realizing their mistake. I would expected more from a hotel of its price category;-(

I highly recommend this hotel. We stayed for 7 days and can not say enough how enjoyable our stay was. The staff is so helpful with recommendations from food to must sees. Tatiana is a true gem. We enjoyed breakfast every morning, they even went the extra mile to provide boxed breakfast on the day we headed out early. The rooms were great and we enjoyed socializing in all the hangout spots by the pool area. It is away from the major tourist areas but a close walk to all areas.

Fantastic hotel, everything so well thought of, and the location is perfect so close to the mountains with the beautiful gardens and anywhere else just a walk or a taxi drive away. We truly enjoyed staying here, me and my teenager. The design of the rooms is exquisite. Nice pool area too.

I treated myself to 2 nights in a penthouse room at the end of a busy week touring Spain. The whole experience was absolutely wonderful, from the friendly and detailed communication from staff prior to arrival, to the stunning room & terrace and the delicious breakfast. It was perfect and just what I needed. After wandering leisurely around Barcelona, I was able to chill out on a sunlounger and enjoy the sunrise & sunsets from my balcony. Thank you so much and I'd love to visit again if back in Barcelona. I have already recommended Hotel Brummell to one of my colleagues!

We usually stay in another area of Barcelona and decided to venture out. Best decision we made. Loved the location of Hotel Brummell as the area had more of a neighborhood feel instead of being overrun by tourists. The hotel is beautifully designed as are the rooms. We had a Mountain View room and were concerned that it would be noisy as it faced a school but it was very quiet. Fun touches throughout the rooms, such as yoga mats, easy coffee service to get you started in the morning, refreshing full-sized bath products and cozy sheets. Be sure to check out the fun vending machine outside your room for tasty late night treats.

We stayed at Hotel Brummell this spring on a business venture, and had the most incredible experience. Tatiana, the hotel manager, went out of her way to help guide our culinary adventures and cater to our travel needs. Tatiana got the memo that we wanted authentic, delicious food (we are in the Food industry in the USA), and she sent us to restauraunts away from the tourist crowds for authentic Spanish food and gastronomy. Each restaurant was more delicious than the last. We ate at several Michelin Acclaimed restaurants and authentic establishments where we ate and drank as much as we desired for about 40 Euros/person. We were blown away by this pricing for the quality of food we were getting. We usually diligently plan our meals when traveling, but because we were on business, we relied entirely on Tatiana, and she delivered a culinary experience that we will never forget, saving us several hours of planning and research. We took a red eye from Miami, and tatiana promptly got us into a morning yoga class associated with the hotel, free of charge. Our rooms were beautiful, and the cleaning service was exceptional - beyond what a typical hotel maid service would provide. The breakfast at the hotel was simple and high-quality. The rooms were modern, clean, and aesthetic. We stayed in the penthouse and had a gorgeous balcony with an outdoor bathtub overlooking the city. This hotel was overall a 5-star experience. We have traveled and stayed at extremely expensive hotels, and Hotel Brummell's service was as good as, if not better than any 5-star hotel concierge/service. Highly recommend. Hotel Brummell is one of the very best boutique hotels that I have ever had the pleasure of staying in. We stayed in the penthouse room 64 and it was fabulous with an outdoor deck and pool overlooking the city. The beds are super comfortable and the sheets are of very high quality all cotton. The pillows are the type of hypo-allergenic so if you like feather pillows you may disappointed with their pillow options though. The Service at the Brummell is beyond! I travel at least 100 days a year for the last 20 years and I typically travel in 4 to 5 star hotels. I prefer boutique hotels for the type of experience that I enjoy most and Hotel Brummell is at the very top of my boutique hotel list!!! If you are a foodie you will love their support and reservation recommendations. I come from the high-end sector of the food industry in the USA and we were never disappointed. Tatiana and the Hotel Brummell team are top notch concierges. The food itself at the Brummell is very good as well and the Brummell team seems to stay right on top of the food scene in Barcelona for it is obvious that those servicing Hotel Brummell have a true authentic love for fine and exceptional food wether it be a casual spot or a tasting menu. The price of food in Spain compared to the USA is quite reasonable and makes for a wonderful place to visit for that reason alone. Of course there are many more reasons to visit Spain - but the food scene has really evolved over the last 2 decades. The Brummell also has a beautiful pool, garden/terraces/decks and restaurant areas. Their address is perfectly located as well for an amazing trip to Barcelona and to be able to explore the city by foot as well when possible. I would not hesitate to book at Hotel Brummell and I don't post reviews very often but Tatiana and the team at Hotel Brummell are above 4 star service!!! Just love the place!!!
