Stay in the chimney room with private bathroom. It's at a separate apartment 2 mins away from the main B&B. Very spacious and clean room even with a solution sofa inside and many chairs for putting your own things inside your room. The bed is super. Can also use the fridge and kettle, as well as other utensils in the... More

Very clean. Warm interior atmosphere and furnishings. Close to metro and many attractions. Kind staff provided breakfast and secured taxi to airport. We recommend this property to other visitors. Note there is a charge for late arrival.

Had a lovely Barcelona Trip and a great stay at BarcelonaBB December 20-30. Stayed in the White Room Suite – King bedroom facing street with balcony – sitting area with couch and desk – full bath. The place and the staff were wonderful and welcoming. Would gladly stay there again should I be in the city. About a 30 minute... More

Stayed 2 weeks in Barcelona BB, 1st week on my own and my husband and father joined on the 2nd week. I stayed in the White room for 3 days then moved downstairs into the master room. Both rooms are great and en suite. The white room upstairs is a bit quieter, but as I sleep through anything, it doesn't... More

This is my second stay and one of the reasons I could not wait to go back to Barcelona. This time around I stayed in the Chimney Room and the Yellow Room - pristine rooms, warm and safe accommodation and satisfyingly delicious breakfast. Location is perfect with a short walk to 3 lines on the Metro, Sagrada La Familia, Passeig... More

Having just spent 12 wonderful days in the White Room Suite at this lovely B&B, I cannot imagine staying anywhere else. The owners, Jon & Kiku, continue to provide the highest level of service with a gracious, welcoming spirit toward all their guests. They truly want you to feel this is your home. The central location in Eixample District is... More

When we arrived by car, Kiku kindly went around the block with us to get a car park for the car and a better rate than we expected for three nights. The room was spacious, with a separate sitting area, bathroom and bedroom. The breakfasts were so nice. We enjoyed the company of our host and his intersting life. The... More

Having toured the USA staying at up market B&B's we now look for decent places to stay while on city breaks. This was a great choice, it was nice chatting to various people over breakfast (having a joke with the Australians!). The location is good, you felt that you were one of the locals walking out in the evening. We... More

Staying in Eixample

Neighborhood Profile
Eixample
Passing through the glorious Plaça Catalunya, you enter the newer city district of Eixample, literally translated as “extension,” which immediately becomes recognizable by its more spacious streets and elegant atmosphere. The main artery of this sizable district, Passeig de Gracia, is lined with high-end international designer stores. Not to be outdone, the glitz and glamour of this zone is perhaps best exemplified by the comfortable and lavish five-star hotels that flank the divine and modernistic buildings from some of the world’s most recognized architects such as Gaudi and Montaner.
