We stayed here for 6 days in early December, and found it excellent value. The hotel is in a nice quiet area of Barcelona, with nice chic shops like furniture shops, a Laura Ashley shop, bakeries etc all in the area, so its part business, part residential, and is really nice and quiet and safe. The hotel is only a...

This hotel is in a very good area for a more Spanish feel. If you arrive late you can't get the subway to the hotel itself. Breakfast in hotel very basic, other places nearby very good but more expensive. Staff at hotel very informative about local information but will chat for a while! It is a very basic hotel but...

Thanks so much for your rating. But please only a few additional details: We are not a budget hotel, we are a small and familiar guesthouse. You can’t get the subway to our guesthouse if you arrive late. That’s true, but that’s true for all hotels in town because the subway closes at midnight. Anyway, in our case you have...

We struggled to find the hotel after arriving in the evening even though we were stood outside! The is no proper sign above the traditional door, just a labelled bell push. The staff are very helpful and the room was OK for a short stay. There are good value restaurants close by.

Dear friends. We liked your title “Well Hidden” and agree in some way because the night you arrived our neon sign was turned off. Really sorry. But on the other hand, we always explain with all details our location and address. Also our street has a lot of light and the number at our guesthouse’s door is also visible. Anyway,...

Stayed for 4 nights in this hotel. My boyfriend and I loved the location of the hotel as it is in a residential area meaning it is quiet and safe! Rooms are clean and sufficient. Staff are very helpful and go out of their way to help and give tips around the best places to go etc. Will definitely recommend!

First of all, the hotel lives up to it's name. It's small, kind of more like a hostel/B&B, and the doors allows a lot of noice into the room. But! The friendlyness from the staff and managers beats most of what I've seen. Location: The hotel is located a bit away from the touristic area, which is nice. In walking...

We thought this accommodation was spot on. The neighbourhood was perfect, very quiet and easy to access metro and taxis. The hosts were very helpful and very willing to assist. The lovely cup of tea prepared for my daughter who was feeling unwell was a kind gesture. We had the room with the separate bathroom which was fine as the...

Our group had all 6 rooms at the Petit Hotel. The living area worked out so well for us to have a glass of wine together. Rosa and Leo were welcoming and made us feel like we were home. The rooms are clean and well taken care of. Free wi-fi is a plus. This is a great property for anyone...

A very warm welcome, and a spotlessly clean room that was a good size for the three of us. We are recommending this hotel to our friends without hesitation. The owners are lovely and very hardworking. They look after their guests very well.

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Feel at home away from home! Stay at Petit, a comfortable and familiy run guesthouse, within 3 subway-stops from the city centre and with easy access to all the main attractions. Have a nice stay in a cosy and well-furnished room with all kind of recommendations and the best advices about the city that you will not find in the tourist guides. We will provide you great service at affordable prices. All rooms have TV, mini-bar, air conditioning and heating. We offer you a double room with a Queen size bed, all other rooms have 2 single beds and if you wish we can add more beds. If what you need is a single room, don't worry: You may profit from one of our nice twin rooms for a lower price. Most of our rooms have their own inside private bathroom. But some rooms have their own private bathrooms located outside of the room. However you will receive a key to your nice and spacious outside bathroom which will be exclusively for your own use. Advantage? The rooms with outside bathrooms are not only more affordable, but the bathrooms are beautiful and more spacious as well. We offer you a simple and little breakfast for only 2,90 €, perfect to begin your day. And please feel free to sleep in late: We have no time limit for it during the whole morning. You're on vacation, aren't you? La Rambla is famous but it is not the only interesting place in Barcelona! There are very beautiful and interesting areas you need to know. Our neighborhood is certainly one of them: Sarria-St. Gervasi is one of Barcelona's wealthiest districts, central, much appreciated by the locals, well connected, very safe, quiet and very commercial at the same time. You will find the best shops of the city because we are on the Barcelona Shopping Line. Around our house you will find ample parking and we also offer you a special price in a parking garage, only a few meters from us. Our area is one of the most charming of the city, surrounded by some of the most popular local nightclubs and pubs, and a variety of restaurants at every price range. Nearby and with easy access: The Camp Nou football stadium, the Trade Fair Centre of Barcelona, the most famous clinics (we are just in front of the ophthalmological clinic Barraquer), only 3 subway stops from Plaza Catalunya, 15 min. walk to Paseo de Gracia, and 5 min. walk to the avenue Diagonal. ... more   less
