I liked the place, nice staff and excellent location. You can walk to Plaça de Catalunya (less than 3 km) or to Park Güell. You can arrive by Renfe and Metro from the airport, very cheap and easy travel. The Metro also takes you to the best of Gaudí and the center of Barcelona, if you do not want to... More

Dear client, Thank you very much for your opinion. We are very happy that the final rating of your stay is positive. About the room, we gave you a single room with a big bed (120cm instead of 90cm of a normal single bed) and a big closet because you were staying here for 8 days, and we thought that... More

Perfect location in one of the coolest areas of the city and literally perfect to access public transport (or walk for much less than an hour) to both historical center and parc guell. Super friendly and hospitable staff. Room is small but with enough storage space and very clean. Only issue we had was traffic noise at night or early... More

Thank you very much for your opinion. We are very proud of our neighborhood, Gràcia, because it's very lively and very close to the city center (5-10 minutes with public transport or 35-45 minutes by foot), and we are glad when our clients feel the same. Hope to see you again if you come back to Barcelona. More

An interesting experience, because you will find yourself in a very local neighborhood. Do not pay to much attention to those complaining here, all basics will be covered. The cleaning lady is super friendly, she is from Islas Canarias and is always ready to help. True that, the guy that works at night looks like a #Securityguy so what? He... More

My partner and I can not reccomend this place enough. Such kind helpful staff, even helping us when our flight got cancelled. Rooms were clean and it was perfect location for what we wanted. If we come back to Barcelona we will stay here again.

It's just indescribable. ..first the guy that works there at night, looks like a security gard and the only words he knows is the price (70 euros!). The room is old fashioned, and if u could fit 2 asians in the bathrom u would be my hero. They barely know what a receipt is....truly awful.

My friend was visiting from out of town and I put her in this place as she was on a budget. Even for a person on a budget, this place is not nice. I feel the rooms are too small and cramped up. The only thing I have to positive say is the location. Everything else is no no.

I bboked this hostal looking for a cheap place, I did it other times in Barcelona but this time I wasn't lucky. I think this place is poor even for the cheap price you pay. Everything is minimalistic over there. The room is not particularely big, but beds are really small. We had a triple room with two double bed,... More

Staying in Gracia

Neighborhood Profile
Gracia literally stands out from the pack. It used to be an independent town until late into the 19th century. Though it’s just a short commute away from the center, a visit here feels like you’re in a whole different city. The bohemian vibe has drawn many international artists to this area, resulting in a wide selection of galleries, live music and artsy boutique stores. The nightlife is centered around the vibrant Gracia’s plaças, where young and old gather to enjoy a drink outside. Carrer de Verdi, its main street, offers affordable restaurants and a movie theater that screens new as well as classic films in their original language. However Gracia's greatest treasure lies just up the hill at Guell Park, where Antoni Gaudi's vibrant and revolutionary art sculptures stand atop unequaled views of Barcelona.
