Really good welcome from the staff. Rooms are perfectly clean. Neighboorhood and hotel are quiet. We have just heard other customers in the corridor but not anymore when they were in their room. The hotel is not in the very downtown but close to the subway so it's a good place to go.

Clean basic room with airconditioning and easy to get to 6 stops from central barcelona. Wifi doesn't work from level 2 you have to go down to the lobby to use it so try get room on a bottom level. Reception speaks basic English but cleaner speaks better English and she's a completely lovely girl.

In town for a music festival so we really didn't need to spend lots of money on accommodation. We were looking for somewhere to get a decent sleep as the sun came up, which was clean and close to the metro station. Hostal Canigo ticked all the boxes - slept like a log and could freshen up to start all...

Affordable hostel, 50 euro per night for a double room with private bathroom. Clean and fresh. Friendly staff but does not talk very good English. The room had what you need for a weekend in a big city. Okay bed and good bathroom. The downside was the location. A bit far from the city center. 6 metro stops away from...

As other reviewers have indicated, this hotel is located in a safe neighborhood near several metro stops, including a line that goes directly to the beach. The reception staff were very friendly and helpful, although not always at the desk, as some reviewers have mentioned. We had elevator access, A/C with in-room controls, free wifi, and a TV.

We stayed in this hotel for 3 nights. Good location, 5 minutes to the metro, 20 minutes to Gaudi Park. Clean and comfortable room, look nice, in spite of small room and hotel.

My girlfriend and I stayed here for a few nights during our University summer vacation. It was PERFECT for us! Inexpensive, clean, quiet and very close to the subway line! I would definitely stay there if I visited Barcelona again!
