We really loved the location of this hotel, being our first time in Barcelona, we wanted somewhere central that we could walk to Las Ramblas without being right in the middle of it all. This was a well priced, fantastic find. Once we arrived, I really want to highlight the service that we received at check-in was beyond phenomenal. Not... More

Our hotel was a pleasant surprise. Room very nice, clean. Could use a luggage rack for suitcases and shower rack for shampoo, and a full length mirror would finish the room off. The balcony with chairs and table was nice in the morning. We enjoyed our stay and the ladies at the desk were superb in recommending restaurants etc. I... More

Very clean, stylish and centrally located hotel with super friendly staff. So why only 3 stars? Because it is the noisiest hotel I've ever stayed at - thanks to the constantly clanking doors, hard floors, and loud water noise whenever someone flushes the loo. I slept a total of about 3 hours last - despite going to bed at midnight.... More

The location is superb for a city trip, all you need is just close by but still quietly located within the centre, as the street has low traffic. Staff is very friendly and helpful, the rooms are rather small but comfortable with cosy beds. Depending on your room neighbours it can be a bit noisy. Cleanliness is okay.

We really enjoyed our stay at this hotel. The staff was friendly and provided us with helpful information for navigating the city and tips on where to dine. The room was small, but it made great use of the space. The bed was very comfortable with fantastic linens. We upgraded for a balcony suite which offered a wonderful place to... More

I feel very lucked out to find this little gem in the middle of the Ramblas. Only a few blocks from the airport bus stop and it took me just 10 mins to walk over. Also, my friend I were able to hop in and out through out the day as it is located right on the Ramblas. Lots of... More

The Moods was the best hotel on our trip! It is on the main street, but away from the busy part. It is in an old building that has been wonderfully converted. The room was great and very comfortable. AND, the wifi worked! The staff were so sweet and helpful, I wish we could have stayed longer.

My wife and I stayed at the Moods for two nights and felt it was a wonderful hotel. We had a room with a terrace. It was a beautiful addition to already nice room. Each morning we had breakfast on the terrace and it felt so romantic. The location is just a short work to the Metro and the neighborhood... More

Staying in Eixample

Neighborhood Profile
Eixample
Passing through the glorious Plaça Catalunya, you enter the newer city district of Eixample, literally translated as “extension,” which immediately becomes recognizable by its more spacious streets and elegant atmosphere. The main artery of this sizable district, Passeig de Gracia, is lined with high-end international designer stores. Not to be outdone, the glitz and glamour of this zone is perhaps best exemplified by the comfortable and lavish five-star hotels that flank the divine and modernistic buildings from some of the world’s most recognized architects such as Gaudi and Montaner.
