Nice hotel but economic cutbacks were being reflected in what the hotel offered. The door in the balcony did not seal well and street noise was quite loud at times. Tea/coffee making was available in the room but only 1 of each? A little mean
After a 12 hour flight from the US we were thrilled to arrive at Hotel Soho. It was a short ride by taxi from the airport. The staff were very kind and helpful! I was relieved to know they spoke English… mi español es muy mal. The cafe was great and very convenient for breakfast. Although truth be told we didn’t spend a whole lot of time in the room, it was a lovely place to crash aster a long day exploring! We also appreciated its convenient location and easy access to public transit.
Hotel Soho is an excellent modern spotlessly clean hotel in a good central location of Barcelona. Excellent modern rooms with mini bar. Excellent breakfast with plenty of choice. Very friendly staff that were so helpful. Minutes walk to a few Plaza’s. Metro system and bus service close to hotel. On the whole a fantastic choice of hotel.
Location is very good. Close to subways and busses but many parts of the city are within walking distance…. It was a 50 minute walk to barceloneta beach which we broke up by stopping for breakfast or tapas on Rambla, depending on time of day. Lots to see in that part of town. Tons of sidewalk cafes… we tried lots. The room itself was modern and very clean! The front staff was amazing as were the cleaning crew. The rooftop patio was beautiful. It was great when we just wanted to catch a few rays or have a swim before dinner. I wish the couch was a bit more comfy but not a deal breaker… there are no drawers to store items If you want to unpack and stay a while. We had to live out if our suitcases. Again, inconvenient but not a deal breaker… lastly, it was really difficult to have a shower without water escaping onto the bathroom floor. (It was no curtain but it had a pane of glass that extended across about 1/3 of the tub length.) We just learned to ask for extra towels! Lol I’ll be staying there again! The price point is great for that part of town!…
The hotel is located near the Metro station giving the visitor easy access to the entire city. Hotel staff speaks a variety of languages and is very friendly and accommodating. The rooms are very clean and service is provided on a regular basis. They offer laundry service, as well as breakfast every morning. As a result of all this my visit was smooth and very enjoyable. I'll be visiting Barcelona again next year and I'll be staying here for sure.
This hotel was lovely and welcoming ….very modern and sleek lines that fit well together The hotel has a lovely rooftop terrace and a small pool to cool of in after a days site seeing, breakfast is buffet style with a wide variety of hot / cold foods for all tastes including GF options, that can be eaten inside or on a terrace. The hotel is walking distance to Plaza Catalunya with local bars and restaurants all around. The hotel no longer operates a bar service but don’t be deterred the hotel is happy for you to bring your own and there are loads of 24hr supermarkets local and your welcome to relax and have a nice Cava by the pool ❤️❤️ All the staff were superb from the moment we arrived nothing was to much trouble,maps/ umbrellas/ ice bucket etc etc Special thanks to Alessio and Director Roberto for the effort they put into making this a wonderful stay including making sure my taxi was on time 😜 ❤️❤️❤️…
Friendly staff, especially Adrià, who offered helpful recommendations. Clean, nice, and convenient hotel, nice breakfast spread, with a very pleasant rooftop pool. Neighborhood was quiet with plenty of options for a meal or drink. Would absolutely return!
We stayed 2 nights here and loved it. Very friendly, helpful staff 24hrs. Great quiet ac in the rooms. The rooms were stylish with a huge comfortable bed, another couple of pillows would have been appreciated but that was a minor thing. Approx 15 min walk to the shops and centre with great brunch restaurants close by. Would stay here again. The roof top space was nice and relaxing although we didn’t use it as too busy in the city.
The location was great, 30 seconds from the nearest train station (Urgell on the red line), 10 mins from lots of shops and restaurants. The main road that the hotel was on felt safe too. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful and the room was huge and comfortable. We checked out at 10am on the last day but they held onto our bags until later that day and even let us go back to the rooftop pool to freshen up before we head to the airport. They provided recommendations on places to eat and always greeted us with a smiling face. The breakfast was decent enough for a 4 day stay too. We were in a room on the back side of the hotel and it was reasonably quiet.
A very modern, sleek hotel - loved the design and it was very clean with spacious rooms. Breakfast had a good choice and was great quality. Can’t comment on the pool, as there were a group of people who used it constantly during our 5 day stay so we were unable to use it as it’s a very small pool. The rooftop terrace was lovely though, although could have done with a bar, vending machine or coffee machine - you had to purchase drinks in a local shop to take up to the roof. The bed was very comfy and the shower worked well. The metro being so close to the hotel was a huge bonus and there is a great range of bars and restaurants surrounding the hotel. Reception staff were friendly and having a 24hr reception hugely benefited us when we arrived at midnight on the first night having had delayed flights. …
