i had a trip to barcelona from the US scheduled for June 2020 that got cancelled due to covid. hotel stated a month prior if restrictions still existed in June they would refund me. now they will not return any emails regarding the refund for the past month!
From the moment we arrived at the hotel to when we left it was a fantastic experience. The staff were really friendly and always happy to help you with ideas of places to visit , restaurants to have tasty meals and ways to get around Barcelona . With all the news at the weekend the reception staff were very informative of the current news bulletins and willing to assist us where every needed. The room was clean - beds very comfortable bathroom very modern , we were given tea and coffee facilities on arrival . Safe in the room which was excellent as I believe that the city has a lot of thefts . Lovely roof terrace which has a view over the city where you can chill out and there is a bar open during the summer months and a small dip pool. The hotel is situated in a great location , really had a great time exploring the city. Would love to return back.…
We absolutely loved this hotel. We had a superior double. It was a large room and was beautifully decorated, so comfortable and felt luxurious. The staff at reception were very helpful with any questions we had. They even went the extra mile. I celebrated my birthday while staying there and without any prompt, just from my passport details, I came back to our room after a day of sightseeing to a chilled bottle of cava, a fruit platter and some chocolate. How special! Thank you so much H10. We’ll definitely book with the H10 chain again.
Lovely central hotel Booked the suite in H10 Casanova during my stay in Barcelona and all I can say, was that I had a great time. The suite was amazing, big comfortable and very clean. We were greeted by friendly staff and a glass of champagne at our arrival. A Nice touch, that should be appreciated more these days. From T2 Airport to the hotel it took us 25 minutes via taxi for a bit less than 30 euros. The hotel is 20 mins away walk from the main attractions like Casa Battlo and 25 mins from Casa Mila. We were advised by the hotel staff to walk rather than take a bus to immerse ourselves.. Best advice given. We also had breakfast in the hotel, choices between Continental and English breakfast. Try the local bread and pastries, a real delight.. All in all we had an amazing time and will definitely come back. Thanks for the excellent service provided by your team …
We stayed here for 3 nights on our break to Barcelona. Upon arrival I was told we were given a corner room with extra space. If that was extra space then the other rooms must be really small! At first glance the room is uninviting and when you look closer you see its in much need of some tlc. There are scratches and marks all over the floor and furniture. The bathroom looked impressive but was let down by a very poorly positioned shower which meant you had to stand at an awkward angle to feel any water. We tried to book ourselves in the spa but it was fully booked and the price of the use of the jacuzzi for just 20 minutes was extortionate! The pros - friendly staff, good location and rooms are clean. The cons - rooms need updating, television channels very poor, over priced hotel and facilities. Tips for anyone staying here - the cafe just opposite the hotel serves fantastic coffee and a croissant for 2 euros! If you use the subway its only a short walk from the hotel and you can get around most popular areas this way. Overall I was not impressed by this hotel, it was in my opinion a 3 star charging 4 star prices. I think the location is the best thing about it. …
