This is a great hotel right in the middle of Barcelona, walking distance to all the main attractions, restaurants and bars. Very helpful staff, clean rooms and comfortable beds. The roof top bar is a must with great views of this amazing city.

We just returned from a 3 night stay at the H10 Casanova. The hotel is very convenient for exploring Barcelona. We walked to most places but there is a bus stop right outside and a metro station a short walk away. Staff at the hotel are very helpful. They sorted out a problem with our room very quickly and the compensatory bottle of cava was a very nice touch! The room was a bit cramped for the three of us (myself, husband and 13 year old son) but very clean and well equipped. We overlooked a noisy busy road however the double glazed windows blocked out all noise of traffic. The air conditioning worked very well too. We enjoyed sipping cocktails in the rooftop bar and the little plunge pool was nice to cool off in at the end of a day’s sight seeing. There was a private event in the roof top bar one evening which we might have found annoying if we had planned to spend more time there. We didn’t pre book breakfast but did end up eating breakfast on two of the three mornings. The selection was excellent and unlike a lot of hotels, there was decent coffee and freshly squeezed orange juice - definitely worth the 15 euros! Service was very efficient too. I would definitely consider staying here again on another visit to Barcelona.

Just got back from a four night stay here at the Casanova. As soon as you enter the hotel you get a lovely clean and pleasant smell, the reception area was spotless and you were greeted very nicely by the reception. Our room was lovely and very clean. Bed was a Queen size and very comfortable. The bathroom was quite large with a walk in shower which was very good. The bathroom was clean and spotless and cleaned each day. The is a mini bar in the room but items are chargeable, however they are reasonably priced. You were also given a free bottle of still water each day which was very good. The daily maid service was very good and they were very much appreciated by us, they kept our room incredibly clean and tidy. We stayed for bed & breakfast and the choice you had for breakfast was very good a choice of hot or cold. Definitely something for everyone. All the staff were so friendly and so polite and nothing was too much trouble. They certainly made you feel very welcome. The hotel is only a hundred meters or so from Urgell Metro which we found was ideal for getting around the city. We would definitely stay at the Casanova again, had such a good experience. Thank you to all the staff.

The hotel was ok, booked as package with Jet2. Comfy beds, had a room that slept 3, 3rd bed was ok for our 4 year old. Bathroom was very tired and couldn’t stand under shower as it twisted to the side, if it went to one side it poured through the poor shower seal, the other side to the wall, we reported to reception immediately, 1st night not fixed, 2nd night they came back and just turned it to tilt to the wall. Third and final night I think the replaced the shower head which made a slight improvement. When we returned to the room after it being fixed there was a leaflet on the floor that had been in my travel handbag, I thought nothing of it. On return to the UK I went in the inside zipper compartment of my handbag where I had £40 Uk cash, this had been taken, it was there the tea time before prior to the repair on the shower being made as my medication was in there too. Yes this is absolutely my own stupidity, all our other valuables were in the safe, I didn’t think to put the £40 in there. I accept total responsibility for this loss but I’m devastated a trip has been ruined by the thought of someone going through my personal things, this was a bag left in the room and a zipped compartment, this person really had to hunt 😢 Not reported to reception or Police as discovered on my return. I’ve seen others have had this happen, management have an issue with their dishonest staff they need to address, I’m sure they will reply to this as they have with others who have made the same comments…..yes you are right I should have used the safe…..but this wouldn’t have stopped your staff going through my personal possessions which is wrong! I have reported to Jet2 and will put this down as a life experience but want to warn others so this doesn’t happen to you

In addition, we also have a special, bigger safety box at the front desk that the guests can use under petition at no extra cost. Please bear in mind that the hotel can not be held responsible for the items left unattended. In case of a supposed theft, the best option is always to report it at the police station in order to carry out an investigation. We regret any inconvenience you may have had during your stay at our hotel and wish to inform you that you can report any incident or suggestion you have to our staff that is always at your disposal, before, during and after your stay. The hotel was part of a Jet2 package. It is a LITTLE tired but not really anything to comain about unless one wants to be a total pedant. Room Was not huge but perfectly adequate. The beds were super comfortable. No kettle in the room although they say you could ask for one. Location is great, five minutes from the Metro, 10 minute walk to Plaza Catalunya. Breakfast was great!

The hotel is in the middle of everything and is so clean. We had a little balcony that was a great addition to the room. There is a lot of variety at breakfast, it is definitely worth adding to your stay. The rooftop bar wasn’t serving drinks at our time, however you could take drinks from the bar up. Reception couldn’t be more helpful when advising on bus tickets etc.

My husband and I stayed here for 5 nights at the end of March. We got the aerobus return ticket from the airport for €10.20 return each. The stop was about 4 minute walk to the hotel and 15 minute walk back to the airport. It was a great way to get to the hotel and only took about 25-30 minutes. As we arrived at noon, our room wasn’t ready so we left our bags until after check in time. Check in from then was quick and we were offered a glass of sparkling wine which was nice. We had to pay a hotel tax on arrival which I wasn’t aware of for €25. This The room was lovely, clean, quiet and had a really nice bathroom. You got a good WiFi connection in the room. We got a few complimentary bottles of water throughout the visit. We had breakfast with the hotel which had a good selection of different choices. I just stuck with continental breakfast but my husband had the cooked breakfast a few times. The only disappointment was the cooked breakfast was cool. The staff at breakfast were excellent. Very attentive and kept your tables clear of plates that you’d finished with. The hotel was well located so it was easy to get to the centre within about a 10 minute stroll. This was our first stay at a H10 hotel and after staying at the H10 Casanova would happily stay again

We stayed here for three nights in a triple room. We were warmly greeted at check in and thought the glass of bubbles was a nice touch. The room was big enough for three of us and we very much liked the unique bath/shower combination. Despite being in a room over-looking the main street the noise was really not a problem at all and was blissfully quiet. The hotel location is good with plenty of bars and restaurants close by and it’s a good area for craft beer bars. Breakfast was €15 per person, so we decided to skip that and eat locally. Nor did we use the bar, but it was a very well laid out area. The hotel has a great rooftop area, although it wasn’t in use when we stayed as it wasn’t warm enough yet. We’d not heard anything about the H10 chain prior to this stay, but would happily stay at this hotel again and will consider other hotels of theirs in the future.

this is a great little hotel, the staff are brilliant and very helpful. food choice is a little limited but that is understandable with so many places nearby to eat. we ate there one night and there service and food were great. the roof terrace gives great views with plenty of seating. it is a short walk to the centre of the city and there are normally taxis waiting just outside, it is also right by a bus stop. our room had 2 sets of doors to a small balcony which kept the outside noise at bay. the only small complaint would be that the room was a little stuffy and the air con didn't seem up to the job

Travelling as a family, we booked the Family room. 40+sqm of space with two double beds, lots of space, two WC's combined with an excellent location (walking distance to the high street - Plaza Catalunya) and excellent and friendly staff. Strongly recommend it for families.
