Great stay at H10 Casanova. Easy connection on the Metro from Barcelona airport L9S to Urgell on L1. Staff are very polite, the hotel itself is immaculate. Our room was much larger than we expected with an incredibly comfortable bed. Breakfast had a wide selection available, cold meats, cheeses, hot scrambled eggs, bacon, a variety of breads, pastry, patisserie, cereals, fruit, juices, yoghurts. Gothic quarter is just a few minutes walk and the nearby districts are full of restaurants and bars. Highly recommend.
Stayed here during August for 5 nights with a friend. Clean rooms with most things you need, though a kettle may have been useful and more channels on the TV. Comfy bed and very nice shower. Managed to get a good nights sleep each night - little noise disturbance and air conditioning was good. Good selection for breakfast and service was friendly. Loved the rooftop bar and the small pool area. Good location - about 15 minutes walk to the Ramblas and 20/25 minutes drive from the airport. Would definitely return!
We stayed for four nights in Feb 2023 with our baby and cannot fault the hotel and the service - all the staff we’re excellent, particularly at breakfast! We had a cot, baby shampoo and small toy provided in the room and a highchair was always available at breakfast. The hotel is also a short walk from the airport so is perfect for an easy airport transfer with a young family. We would absolutely stay here again and recommend for anyone with a baby!
We stayed 4 nights at this hotel due to taking part in the Barcelona Half Marathon. We arrived early by 10am and checked in although rooms were not ready, reception took our bags so we could explore the city. We returned later that afternoon to go to our room & given a glass of cava each to enjoy. We had booked a standard double via BA.com and it was nice and modern, huge bathroom with bath and shower, balcony, mini bar. The only issue we had was the room was too hot, the air con only went as low as 17 and felt like it was blowing out hot air. We slept with the ceiling fan on and opened balcony door in the day time to cool down. Breakfast was great from 7-10.30 so ample time to enjoy the huge buffet of fresh food, coffee, juices and cava. The plunge pool and roof terrace wasn’t open but would be a great area to enjoy a drink in the summer. The hotel is located within walking distance to many shops, bars, restaurants. We never used the metro or bus at all but we enjoyed walking for miles each day as far as we could around the city. Very friendly staff throughout the hotel and wouldn’t hesitate to stay again.…
Lovely stay! Me and boyfriend just came back from this hotel after a 3 night trip away. Overall so happy and very pleased with the hotel. Lovely and clean. Had champagne on arrival and room was ready early too. Bed super comfy and considering your right on a main road, the windows/doors block out the sound so well so we slept amazing. We have a standard room but was nice and clean. We had breakfast included, and it had a great selection and was delicious. Staff all very lovely and helpful, they are a credit to the hotel. Hotel is literally a 10 min walk to central with all the shops and a few minutes from the station, loads of little shops, places to eat, bars near by. Taxi rank also right outside. The hotel at the top has a plunge pool but can imagine in the summer it’s lovely on the roof top (was even nice in winter sun) Only small suggestions I have is we would of liked a kettle in the room (being brits). Also our fridge did not work but we did not need this. Only small issues but didn’t effect our stay at all. Thank you to h10 for another lovely stay this is our 2nd stay with the hotel chain and would definitely use again (they have so many around Barcelona too). Perfect hotel for central location and a pleasant stay.…
We booked this as part of a package with BA for three nights. The hotel is central and was great value for money with a fantastic breakfast. Having said this, this felt more like a 3* hotel than a 4*. We did have some concerns as we stayed: the bathroom absolutely stunk of cigarette smoke and it was quite clear the extractor fan was broken with the smoke coming from a neighboring room or somewhere else. We requested to change rooms but were told to come back in the morning as no other rooms were available. The room was also very tired looking with marks along the wall, ruffled wallpaper. The beds (two singles together as a king size I think) were also extremely uncomfortable. Finally, we asked for a late checkout the night before leaving and were told to check back in the morning. We checked back in the morning and were told no late checkout was available which was a bit of an inconvenience.…
The room is very confortable, but it is incredible that a 4 start hotel dosent have a kettle in the room to prepeare some hot drink. And is not good that if I pay for days they do not turn on the heat pass 5 in the afternoon
Stayed here for the week with my wife and it’s been nice. Staff are really friendly and helpful, especially on reception. Location is great and in walking distance of everything however make sure you bring comfortable walking shoes. Breakfast was nice with a good selection of continental and sweet choices however the hot breakfast was a hit and miss. It was never consistent and sometimes cold, specially the beans and hash browns. Staff was super lovely. The only downfall are the standard double rooms. The haven’t been maintained well and looks a little tired. Bathroom seals are dirty, floors are really scratch up, only one plug socket on one side of the bed, side lamps feel cheap, some plugs not working. List goes on… Would stay here again but not sure what the other rooms are like. Unfortunately I did ask for a change of room but they were ‘fully’ booked……
Lovely hotel just a 10 minute walk from Playa Catalunya and Las Ramblas Very friendly and helpful staff and a great choice for Breakfast that set us up for a days exploring. Direct airport bus stops just a few hundred yards away which made getting to/from the hotel stress and trouble free . Despite being on a very main road the rooms are quiet and had no problems in getting a good nights sleep
Stayed in a Superior Double and although it was VERY spacious it was strange having to have the lights on during the day and curtains closed when changing clothes becasue of limited light through corner windows overlooking the well of the building. Curtains did not fully close either (always travel with pegs to aliviate this). Had TV in centre of room which did not rotate to the couch. Had to ask to get my room cleaned TWICE at 16:00 as even though I put sign on door (as did others nearby whose signs disappeared so they had been cleaned). Sunday - all day/evening glitter all over the communal walk way - even though a vacuum cleaner was by it ALL day. Glad to see that the day I left the hallway was being stripped of its paper and was presumably to be painted as the skirting board was badly scuffed all along the corridor. The chair at the desk was dreaful - no wheels and caused bad back as I worked at desk. Plenty of wardrobe space but the one by entrance was porrly lit. (Do management ever experience, for themselves what we encounter?).…
