Booked this hostel through BudgetPlaces.com. Went to Barcelona for my partner's birthday surprise but i was on a massive budget so decided to go for Hostal Benidorm. It was relatively cheap and the majority of reviews seemed to be good reviews. We booked '1X Double Room with View'. I also emailed a man called Tico requesting a balcony room and...

The hostal is in the middle of La Rambla, so a great location for starting your exploration of Barcelona and close to many restaurants. Room is modern, clean and basic, has a laptop safe and good wifi coverage and speed. The hostal does not offer breakfast, but once you step out of the door there is more than enough choice...

A great pension style hostel with spotless rooms and right on Las Ramblas. We had a twin room with en suite bathroom. Very quiet. This is not a luxury hotel so don't expect ant frills but it is a perfect place to stay if you want to explore the city.

The Benidorm had an optimal location next to 2 metro stations and at the heart of Ramblas street. The entrance, stairwell and rooms were clean, towels and small shampoo packets were provided. The front desk staff was friendly. The only downside is that you have to hand in the room key every time you leave the room so it is...

The location is absolutely amazing, a little bit noisy but if you want to stay in some peaceful and kalm place don't choose La Rambla as a destination)) we liked every moment we spent there, its raves, loud crowds in the evening and a lot of people around! The room was nice and...

Stayed for a long weekend with a friend, our twin room was clean, modern and with an external window looking out onto a courtyard of another building. Beds were made and towels were changed daily. Free wifi was great with a good connection most of the time. Location is brilliant, right on Las Ramblas, just opposite Placa Reial. The main...

Staying in La Rambla

Neighborhood Profile
La Rambla
Barcelona's most famous street was once a dry riverbed. Now, La Rambla is a 1200-meter boulevard, and a major draw for visitors. During the day, La Rambla fills with pedestrians, some of which stroll past impressive human statues and artists while others take a break to people-watch while enjoying a drink at one of the many terraces. Housed here is the iconic Boqueria Market that offers one of the most varied and appetizing selections of local produce and specialty meats and treats. While it’s important for tourists to keep an eye on their belongings at all times, this area is most safely explored in the daytime and is a must see for everyone who visits.
