Compared to other hotels I stayed in this past August, it was of poorer quality and higher price, which was disappointing. It's a hike from any of the beaches, but being right on the Rambla and near the Gothic Quarter makes it great for evening ventures and night life. There isn't much to recommend this place, other than that at... More

We stayed here for 4 nights. Great location, all you need us in walking distance. Nice & helpful people at the front desk. The rooms are clean and practical. The shared shower was very good and always clean. Unfortunately the bed was for me a nightmare tho. Verry hard to sleep on!

Spent a night in this hostel due to a long flight connection in Barcelona. The location is great. Walking distance to the subway stations, airport shuttle bus stops, Las Ramblas etc. Very friendly and helpful reception staff. Basic facilities. Perfect for a short stay.

My boyfriend and I stayed with this hotel in October for four nights - we booked the 'be home' hotel which is actually part of this hotel. It is a hostel not a hotel but you would never guess this as it is very nice and modern! Upon arrival we were stressed out as we could not find the hotel,... More

Recently stayed in a Private Double with ensuite. Arrived early and were grateful to have been able to get into our room then. Room was on first floor, nice size for two. For 3 or 4 would be very cosy. Bathroom was a decent size but shower was tiny, my partner struggled to get in and out. It seemed the... More

This place was very clean. Had a great shower, and the help was very friendly. Sometimes a little noisy, but not bad enough to deter you from staying there again. Close to all the sites. Every room has a balcony.

I stayed in "Be Home Hotel" that collaborates with Be Ramblas Hotel. They are not so far! The room was very clean and confortable, quite small but we didn't mind :) I think that the best thing was the scent in all the rooms af the hotel and in the hall. Near the reception there was a room with some... More

Ideal location just off Las Ramblas. Easy walk to just about anywhere. Doesnt do breakfast anymore but plenty of eating places around. Pizza slices few doors up for 2€ yum. Staff lovely too. Make sure you specify room type when you book i.e twin beds, double etc. Could do with a toaster & electric jug. Very clean & tidy

The hotel is in a great location, only a quick walk to Les Rambles where all the nightlife, shops and amazing markets are. Also a quick walk to the beach and Place Reil Sqaure. The room sizes are quite decent and very spacious, we stayed in the 'Twin private ensuite' rooms and there was enough space for 2 people per... More

Staying in El Raval

Neighborhood Profile
El Raval
Once a downtrodden corner of downtown Barcelona, this gritty area has seen a cultural resurgence boasting an excellent nightlife and one of the most multi ethnic spots in the entire city. A sense of humble authenticity protrudes from the many independent record stores, second hand shops, and student bars that seem to light up the streets day and night. The rocking epicenter, the MACBA Plaça, is a modern day forum for bohemian youth, abuzz with the sights and sounds of late-night gatherings and talented skateboarders showing off their latest tricks.
