Positives: Apartments are clean and tidy. Yes, very basic but had everything we needed for a 3 night stay. Location was perfect as your only a 3 minute walk to Catalunya Sq and Las Ramblas with access to metro. Also only a 5 minute walk to the nearest supermarket. And on arrival, was greeted by a man called Ariel who...

Gm apartments right in the centre yes up a side street but for a weekend away with friends ideal. Basic yes, but clean and as we are only hear for three days perfect. If you like the finer things in life don't stay here but for a cheap city break you won't fine better.

Location and value for money were the keys to the apartment's attraction. Being in a narrow street with few pedestrians at night made for easy sleeping. The rooms were fairly basic but had all requirements needed for a five night stay. Being 200m from a major Metro station and the Airport Bus Stop was an advantage. Many major sites were...

The apartment was perfectly located in Placa Catalunya. Basic but everything we needed. Downside was our apartment was on third floor - 60 steps on tight staircase. Also fronted onto small passage which seemed to be gathering point in early hours for noisy gatherings at weekend. Overall - very good. Will go again if lower floor and back room available

The apartment is tucked away in a dark side alley off Place Catalunya. The location is very central and transport and shopping options are close by. The apartment itself was on the 1st floor, and had trouble catching any daylight. It also effectively blocked cellphone coverage. The interior of the apartment is simple but adequate, and the staff were helpful...

Staying in Eixample

Neighborhood Profile
Eixample
Passing through the glorious Plaça Catalunya, you enter the newer city district of Eixample, literally translated as “extension,” which immediately becomes recognizable by its more spacious streets and elegant atmosphere. The main artery of this sizable district, Passeig de Gracia, is lined with high-end international designer stores. Not to be outdone, the glitz and glamour of this zone is perhaps best exemplified by the comfortable and lavish five-star hotels that flank the divine and modernistic buildings from some of the world’s most recognized architects such as Gaudi and Montaner.

“Pleased that we had a room on a lower level. Tight and narrow staircase would have made the climb a challenge. The Manager did, though, take our cases up the one flight.”
