Serenity and tranquillity...... words not normally used in the same sentence as Barcelona’. The Campa group have created something very special with this hotel. They have pulled off an indescribable balance between chic-cool and extreme convenience. From the minute you walk into the lobby, the hotels staff seem to mind read weather you need a coffee and a sit down,...

This hotel was great. They give you 2 rooms, a living room and a bedroom. The wall behind the sink is actually a window. It has electronic shade you control with a switch that looks into a modern garden. There is no mini fridge...but they have something better than that. Downstairs past the lobby is an area where you can...

If you've read any of my other reviews you will know that location is the most important thing to us as we need a good night's sleep so we try and find a hotel in the heart of the action but away from the traffic. This hotel ticks every box for us. Upon arrival the taxi pulled up at the...

Stayed 5 nights for business. Great location, just off la ramblas. Friendly and helpful staff, nothing was to much for them, cannot rate them highly enough. Rooms were clean and tidy, minimalist but comfortable, would be interested to see what the suites are like. Breakfast was great with a chef on hand to cook fresh omlettes etc and a 24...

We stayed at the Casa Camper over a long weekend with our two year old daughter, and we could not have been happier! The staff was incredible, location perfect, and the fact that one could get good snacks + drinks 24-7 made our trip not just bearable but fun. We moved from a room to a suite after our first...

We stayed here when my company flew us all over for it's 10th birthday celebrations. The hotel itself was fantastic, very cool and minimal. The rooms were well appointed, if a little small. I loved the room across the hall with the hammock and the balcony overlooking the quaint little road. The places reeks of atmosphere. The roof terrace overlooking...

Stayed at Casa Camper in October 2011 and it was amazing. So close to Las Ramblas, walking distance to fantastic restaurants, the waterfront and so many attractions. The restaurant around the corner, Bar Lobo was outstanding with fresh food and a great vibe. We dined there two nights out of five nights in Barcelona. The staff were extremely friendly and...

We stayed 3 nights at Casa Camperand could not have been more pleased. Everything that the 5 star reviews have said is true. Location wise it is ideal; just a stone's throw from Pl Catalunya where the Aerobus drops off, but set in a quiet area so that there is no nighttime noise to disturb your sleep. The staff are...

We chose the hotel based on trip advisor reviews and were not disappointed at all. We stayed with our 3 children ages 13, 11 and 8 yrs, they loved the gym and the all day snacks and when tired from all the sightseeing it was a great retreat. The photos do not do it justice and the level of accomodation...

Staying in El Raval

Neighborhood Profile
El Raval
Once a downtrodden corner of downtown Barcelona, this gritty area has seen a cultural resurgence boasting an excellent nightlife and one of the most multi ethnic spots in the entire city. A sense of humble authenticity protrudes from the many independent record stores, second hand shops, and student bars that seem to light up the streets day and night. The rocking epicenter, the MACBA Plaça, is a modern day forum for bohemian youth, abuzz with the sights and sounds of late-night gatherings and talented skateboarders showing off their latest tricks.
