Detailed Reviews
Hotel's Favorite
I had high expectations of Hotel Casa Camper just from research and reading the reviews and it still exceeded my expectations. From the moment we stepped in at 7:30am jet lagged and expecting to drop our bags off and just hang in the lobby till our room was ready and was greeted by very friendly but professional front desk staff and told our room was ready. To be able to shower in a spacious and well-appointed room and plop into a very comfortable bed for a much needed nap was pure heaven. And from there it was all uphill. Very well-designed and thoughtful rooms, nicely sized with a separate lounge that came in so handy for privacy for phone calls or differences in body clocks. The hotel location was perfect and so convenient to everything within a 10-minute walk. The rooftop terrace and well stocked honesty bar - wow! My husband was so jealous when I sent him a photo of his favorites, Lagavulin 16 and Michter’s Straight Rye. The variety and quality of the 24/7 snacks and drinks and the daily breakfast - wow! The service and staff - wow! Everyone was attentive, professional, friendly and front desk staff made excellent recommendations of restaurants and a flamenco show. Thanks to Miriam, Paolo, Pol… really every employee was great. Sorry but I can’t remember all the names now. Wow, wow, wow! As seasoned travelers (who’s stayed in the luxury places like the Ritz, Four Seasons, Wynn Las Vegas, etc), my friend and I were blown away and tried to put our finger on what makes this place so special and we decided it’s the confident but understated luxury, the attentive staff, and then all the small but very thoughtful touches all around that made us feel like our every need and wants were fulfilled. The sights of Barcelona called to us, but we would’ve honestly been happy to hang out at the hotel longer. In fact, our last afternoon we just enjoyed the nice weather on the rooftop terrace with drinks and the views. We’re back home now and already so missing our favorite hotel. But I’ve already promised my husband his trip and hope to be back soon to Casa Camper. Can’t wait!

Located 3 minutes walk from the Ramblas and Plaza Catalunya, this hotel is very welcoming and friendly. Our room was very roomy with an EXCELLENT shower, and all amenities (although they provide slippers, you might want to bring your own, since they are not disposable slippers, only the inner part is removable and replacable). We also got a hotspot device which allowed us to use the hotel's wifi all throughout the day, all over the city. Breakfast was nice but the real treat is the tentiempe - which means 24/7 hospitality (coffee/tea, soup, sandwiches, salads, baguettes, cheese, butter, desserts, soft drinks, juices, nuts and chips; chocolate) included in the price of the room. Nice to come back to the hotel and enjoy a bite. Also received complimentary cocktail in the downstairs bar. Very cool terrace which was less of an attraction for us in the winter, but there is a "tropical rain" corner that I can imagine is really nice in the summer. Staff was extremely friendly and helpful. All in all, a great experience. Highly recommended!

We stayed at Casa Camper February 2020 and had an excellent experience. The service was friendly and top notch. Our room was ready for early check-in which was great because we arrived even earlier than expected. The rooms on the interior of the hotel are very quiet. No noise issues at all. Surprisingly large walk-in shower which came in very handy after injuring my leg. The location is really perfect because most sights are within walking distance. The 24 hour snack area was great for grabbing small bites and drinks which would have been overpriced and low quality if we had to purchase them on nearby Las Ramblas. I did not find El Raval to be a rough neighborhood as it has been characterized in the past. It is a young, vibrant neighborhood, lots of students. I felt safe at all hours of the day and night. There are some great bars and restaurants in the neighborhood as well. We also used the 10% discount from the hotel to buy shoes at the local Camper store down the street.

The hotel have a fresh and modern design. Bed is great and bathroom is open. Free and fast WiFi is included. There is always something you can eat in the self service part inkl. drinking. On the roof you can chill and enjoy the view. Really a good place, good located. The rooms are quiet, only when your neighbor take a shower, you will hear it ;)

First, the location is amazing, just a minute walk from Rambla, about 15 easy minute walk from the marine, Picasso museum etc. You can really walk anywhere, beside Guell park.
The hotel was very clean and well equipped. The shower was great (but no door... keep that in mind) and there was a separated resting area for each room, unlocked with the room key.
The staff was attentive, kind and very helpful. After two breakfast meals they remembered the kind of coffee we wanted and brought it to our table the next days without us asking. There is always free food and drinks at the lobby, and that's nice when you come back after a long day. Breakfast is good, and you can ask for eggs, pancakes etc.
The hotel has a free WI-Fi and also gave us a little transmitter that allows us to use the Wi-Fi anywhere outside the hotel. That's thoughtful.
We paid a really fair price for this wonderful hotel and Casa Camper is definitely my first recommendation to anyone staying at Barcelona.

I will start with Miriam and Vlad, great customer service and helpful people. Always smiling. Our check in process was smooth and easy. They explained everything to us, showed us the room, how everything works in the room, to cafeteria and the amenities that the Hotel has. This was our last stop in Spain and our experience was absolutely amazing. Whichever staff we came across at the property was smiling, polite and ready to help. The breakfast was yum and snacks available 24hrs was a bonus. My teenagers loved it! Rooms are modern and created like we see in sci fi movies (like the hanging garden), automatic shutters. We didn't have time to shop at the shoe store Camper (you get a 10% discount coupon when you check in). The end of our trip was a memorable one - my teenage daughters played pool for the first time. They sucked at it when we started playing but by the end of it they were pro at it and asked to buy a pool table when we go back home to the US as they enjoyed it so much. Thank you Vlad for that and thank you to the lady working at the bar that evening. The terrace view and the little rain garden was so beautiful. We enjoyed our stay and can't wait to go to Casa Camper in Belgium. Please keep us posted on where your next Hotel will be coming.
The part that was inconvenient is having a cozy living room with a hammock, sofa and TV across the hall which myself and my husband never used. We had booked 2 rooms and I know for sure my 13 year old used their living room space and I am sure she used the hammock too. If we had known, I would have booked the suite in which the living area is attached with the room. Definitely next time. Now coming to the toilet. A hand bidet would be a great addition as the bidet in the shower area is inconvenient.

I chose this hotel based on proximity to friends we were visiting and the free snacks, since I have a teenaged son who never stops eating. But I would not hesitate to recommend this hotel to anyone and will definitely stay here again on future trips to Barcelona. We experienced friendly customer service from multiple people at the hotel. We stayed in two rooms - the suite and a double room. Both were extremely spacious, clean and had very comfortable beds. The location could not be more perfect - there were tons of great restaurant options within a 5 minute walk and it was very central for sightseeing.

We stayed in the garden facing suite as a family of two adults and one teenager.
Location is very central, we could visit most attractions just walking.
The room itself is quite good, it has a sliding door that separates the bedroom from where the third person would sleep and each room has a television.
However the high point of the hotel is the extremely friendly and helpful staff, particularly Pablo at the reception, who went really out of the way to guide us and make every effort to make our stay comfortable and provided very useful tips.
Taxi can come to the hotel door and Pablo also helped us book one, which was very punctual, to take us to the train station.

+1
We stayed here for 3 nights as we celebrated the new year in BCN. Chose this hotel because of the numerous great reviews so here is another review. The hotel is located just about 2 blocks off of la Rambla so very ideal. From the moment you arrive until you leave the staff was amazing. One awesome thing about this hotel is upon check in they gave us a WiFi hot spot device to use so as we explored Barcelona we were always in contact with our family. Our room was large and modern with a very comfortable king bed. The breakfast buffet had a nice assortment of items to choose from. Also after about 1pm the hotel offers its guests free food items to enjoy from sandwiches, salads, sodas, soup and much more.....all for free.

Hotel is located in a small and quiet street but walking distance from the Gothic area and shopping street. Very warm welcome and explanation on Barcelona whereabouts during the check-in process ... very good idea to get information's on the hotel location and what to visit first as it is really helpful and, as second, also check-in goes faster this way.
Location of the hotel is very good as it is walking distance from the main streets and areas to be visited. Rooms are spacious and comfortable. An interesting design of the clothes storage ... and signs and labels in the room/bathroom.
Breakfast is very good and freshly prepared. Kitchen staff and waiters are extremely polite and nice.
Cleanness of the room could be improved.
Generally loved the place and would come back!

So sorry I didn’t see this. I always felt safe - it’s not that far off La Ramblas and it’s a busy but light area with lots of restaurants, shops and pharmacies. I walked around a bit on my own and can recommend it 100%. Definitely the. Eat service and breakfast anywhere we stayed in Europe in 8 weeks 😍
We've stayed at the Casa Camper and have also done Airbnbs in that same neighborhood (as we currently are). That part of Barcelona is actually pretty safe. As you walk down Las Ramblas toward the beach, that's where it can get a little sketchier with pickpockets or worse as you get down toward the Gothic quarter and the southern part of the Raval neighborhood, as well as Barceloneta by the beach. But where the Casa Camper hotel is located at the top end of Las Ramblas kind of near the north end of Raval and near L'Eixample is much safer -- especially if you walk north from there toward the higher-end shops and restaurants.
Hi, I don't remember, but I am sure if you email them, they will answer quickly.

Yes and it is very nice quality. In fact, they sell it in the lobby if you want to take some home with you.
