Detailed Reviews
I visited Barcelona for a couple of days and I literally only went to the room to sleep during my stay. So for this reason, I did not mind that the room was one of the smallest I have recently come across. Facilities were also very basic; no cupboard, tables and chairs, or safety deposit box. The bathroom was also small. The room was clean and staff were polite. There was a water fountain on the floor so I did not have to bother buying water during my trip.
My room (106) only had one adjoining room on one side so I had no issues with noise from neighbouring rooms. BUT.... there was a lot of noise in the street with people shouting and screaming directly under my window. This was in January (low season) so it must be only worse during the Summer months. I always travel with earplugs and I did not hear any of the noise after using them but without ear plugs you can expect a disturbed sleep.
There is a restaurant on the ground floor (seems to be American themed) but I did not eat there because I wanted to try authentic local food.

Great hotel if u not going to be in the room for too long & want only for sleep & bathroom like us. We found it much more good than expected. Yes it has not very great reviews inspite of that we decided to try our luck & it was all worth it. It's just 10mins walk to La Pedrera & yum restaurants on that route. Clean & well kept. Of course lil old & need some rapair but that's ok. 24hrs reception open cos we reached midnight & also checked out at 4am but both the times the staff were pleasant & warm. Would recommend highly & will visit again for sure.

I have been in Barcelona for a big conference. I found this hotel in a good location. It's just 5 minutes on foot from the metro 3 station (Diagonal) and you can reach easily both the town centre and the airport. The price is really cheap. The room is comfortable, though small as well as the bathroom (whose cleaning could be improved), but you won't go to Barcelona to lay in a hotel room. You have also tv, wifi and air conditioning.

i couldn't make the trip, 2 days prior to it i had a heart attack. i had bought a reservation for 6 days and sent a note with my cardiologist certificate and got a refund even as i did not buy a refundable fare. Easy, fast, no questions asked. this experience is worth mentioning it.

We booked on Expedia after it read hotel. We got there and it was the creepiest place I ever saw. We rang the bell multiple times out front and when we walked in the front lobby it was absolutely filthy. No one was there. Than I called the guy and he said that it was a hostel not a hotel. It looks like a crack filled area of town. Filthy. I cancelled the booking through Expedia for misrepresentation and the manager is saying he won’t refund.
Don’t say here. You will be so disappointed

I happened to stay in this "Hotel" for just one night recently, as I had to catch my flight on the next morning quite early. Given that I only planned to stay for not even 12 hours I was prepared not to arrive in a luxuries place.
However, even with my low expectations, this place should be avoided by any means by future guests. I don’t mind that the elevator is falling apart or that the interior furniture is used and dirty, but I mind entering the room and getting overwhelmed with a smell of beer and weed. I would understand that mistakes can happen, but once I told the hotel personnel about my luck, I just was told that they can’t smell anything and that it is completely normal condition. Moreover, my request to change room or to have a view into other rooms was instantly turned down, as the hotel supposingly was completely booked, and no under room was available for a change. The smell was simple unbearable, and no AC nor the window wide open could change hardly anything about the disgusting after party smell.
I advice anybody who thinks about staying there to simply ignore this option. I am totally aware that I cannot expect too much for a room for 65EUR, however, I at least expect the staff to be more helpful and honest about the hote /room
If you want to avoid staying in disgusting smelly room, you should by any means simply shun this place.
Thx,
Regards,
Johannes H.

I spent a couple of days in Barcelona during February and i stayed to BCN Urban Bonavista. The room was very clean and i was lucky to have also a small balcony. The place of Gracia is fantastic and the street outside is quite enough. Abraam is fantastic guy and very professional receptionist , always there to answer in any question of the clients and i hope to go again there as soon as possible!!
Muchas gracias por todo!! Hasta la proxima vez!!

Stayed there 4 nights and it was quite good for the price i paid. If you are looking for a hotel to be pampered this is not it. It offers just the basic. The room was quite nice although very noisy from the street. There are alot of cafes and bars in the area and sometimes you can hear people shouting at late hours;also there is alot of noise from delivery and bin collecting trucks very early in the morning. Again its a central hotel and the area its quite vibrant,so the noise should be expected.
Staff were pleasant enough and did their job to an expected extent. Nothing more nothing less. The maid was attending every day and the room was done nicely.
15 min walk to Sagrada Familia, 30 min walk to Park Guell, 35 min walk to CosmoCaixa, Cafes and Shops just around the cornern and Carrer Gracia offers planty of chances to drink eat or spend your money on high end shops.
All in all a very well located basic clean hotel.

My boyfriend and I picked this hotel/hostel primarily based on location and price. But had we known that it would have these issues we probably would have stayed elsewhere. There is a little bar/tapas place right across the little street and you literally heard every conversation and EVERY footstep going up and down the street. Also we are on the second floor and kept our windows closed but somehow cigarette smoke managed to come into our room by whoever was smoking down below us...also, the water pressure is awful!!! Especially if someone else is showering... Don't expect to have hot water or even any water come out in either the shower or sink. After a long day we both wanted to shower before bed and we had to go to bed "dirty" because there was no water! The room is clean however so that was comforting but the noise is just ridiculous.

1. Perfect location!!! 4 minutes walk to Diagonal subway station
2. SUPER friendly, VERY helpful, positive and kind english-speaking staff at 24-hours reception!!! especially David, thank you again for your help and kindness, for being so friendly, nice and funny!
3. Excellent working, very fast free wi-fi in the room
4. Very cheap price for ensuite double room in the city center
Very nice, clean modern hotel in the center of Barcelona - I definitely recommend it to everyone and will be back for sure! Hope to stay there next time while in Barcelona.
Only one thing that we didn't like - the bed and pillows were uncomfortable, we didn't have good nights there... We felt cold and wind from the window, because the bed was near the window. And so much loud noise from outside our room (from corridor).

It appeared to me that people paying for breakfast had some very basic bread and butter with meat, etc. It did not seem to be a buffet style.
