Best hotel in Barcelona. Beautiful amenities and great staff. Even shipped a box pens across the world to make my wife’s Christmas! Also, little cafe across the street has the best sangria around and killer breakfast
Fabulous hotel with the most friendly staff you can imagine. They were very helpful indeed and did everything they possibly could to make our stay as enjoyable as possible from the moment we walked through the front door. The hotel is in a great location. Rooms are modern, clean and spacious with everything you could possibly need. Breakfast was delicious and the environment was extremely comfortable. We wouldn't hesitate to return. Thank you to al at Olivia Balmes!!
I have stayed at this property a few times when visiting Barcelona and it is always a pleasure. I can not praise the staff enough for being so friendly and welcoming. I must shoutout Ginebra and Adrian for going above and beyond to make my stay extra special. Thank you! I highly recommend this hotel, its location is also great. We were able to enjoy a complementary bottle of wine in the lobby and simply have a wonderful night before heading back home. Thank you for making my Birthday so special. Thank you Magnolia
The treatment of the hotel staff can only be described as exceptionally good. In no other hotel where I have stayed have we received such treatment as in this Hotel, thank you from the bottom of my heart. Also super well located, clean, I will definitely repeat my visit
Loved it! Hotel is clean, staff is very friendly and helpful. Rooms are beautiful, modern and clean. We had buffet breakfast included and it was delicious, and we had lunch in the restaurant twice, that was very good too. Pool area was nice, too bad I was there in December. I would have loved to go for a swim. I recommend this hotel to anyone.
First time in Barcelona and stayed at this hotel. Excellent customer service very attentive to requests. The room was clean and it was nice having a balcony. The toilet is separate from the shower which I'm not a fan of usually but it worked out well. I was a bit disappointed with the cleanliness of one small towel as I found a dead bug in it which meant re-washing my hair. The toothpaste they provide is in a small sachet which is enough for one go. I asked the cleaner for more but they didn't have any so went out to buy. Not a problem really just a minor inconvenience. The second night we were given a bottle of wine in our room which was nice of the hotel staff, however we don't drink alcohol so it can be saved for another guest. The beds were OK but I was not sure about cleanliness due to certain smells. I don't think fresh sheets are used when you stay in hotels so I've been told. They just open it up again and remove creases. The location is good walking distance from the city centre. We took a taxi to La Sagrada Familia as that it a longer walk. I feel as though the taxis in Barcelona are genuine and don't try to rip off tourists. Overall, I would recommend the hotel even with some disappointments it was still pleasant and the customer service is excellent. Special shout out to Eduardo who is super nice and attentive.…
The staff is welcoming, attentive, and meet your requests quickly. The room is very nice and in a great location. I came solo to Barcelona and this was a good experience. I even got a suprise welcome package that incuded a bottle of water and red wine. I highly recommend this hotel!
Had a fantastic weekend break. All the staff were so helpful, friendly and welcoming. Good buffet breakfast. We didn't have time to use the pool but it as open even in November. Location was excellent with shopping, bars and restaurants in walking distance. Metro stop right outside the door. Hope to come back to Barcelona and we'd defiantly book this hotel again.
Amazing hotel. Great location. Good food. Very helpful staff. It was my birthday and the hotel manager left a token on my room. A beautiful cake and champagne. What an amazing gesture by the hotel manager. Strongly recommend this hotel to everyone .
This hotel is situated in a fantastic part of the L’Eixample district of Barcelona. Just far enough away from the tourist crowd, but close enough to amazing places to eat and nice shops. I think it’s location is this hotels number one selling point. The staff are very warm and friendly and always made my wife, daughter and I very welcome. The room itself was nice, though I question how this is one of the best rated hotels in the whole of Barcelona - the rooms are fine, clean but not overly luxurious (don’t get me wrong, they’re nice, they’re just not 5 star rated-stunning). Though I did like the subtle light sensors that came on in the night if you needed to go to the toilet. A few things I didn’t like: - The bed pillows were not comfortable. Even impractical - you get one large square pillow and a long thin pillow and I just couldn’t get comfortable. - The sink taps have to be switched on full to get hot water, but that’s not ideal in the night when you have a 4 year old. - The shower is contained within a bath - which is good - but the tap facility is incredibly annoying, it’s not clear without getting sprayed with water by the hand shower! Top tips: - try to be on the top floors. There was one night where an event went on until about midnight in the outside bar area and it was very noisy, even with the balcony door shut. - don’t book this place if you want to take advantage of the rooftop pool in October/November - it’s just too cold! - don’t include breakfast in your package. If you need to, you can decide day by day, but really there are some incredible places to eat on your doorstep. All in all a very good hotel. The staff were lovely to my daughter and I wouldn’t hesitate to come back (I just don’t think it’s the five star other people have given). A special thank you when our flight was cancelled on the way home and they made it very easy to extend our stay by one day.…
