My friend and I found this place online when we were heading to Barcelona for the weekend. We only stayed one night at Fabrizzio's Terrace, but we would certainly stay again if we ever go back to the city! The location was decent - less than two blocks from the Girona metro stop, which was great for catching rides around...

Located in the heart of the city, this is the best location to stay in Barcelona. We walked around the city from here and without any fatigue. The staff is extremely amicable and helps you with almost everything you need in and around the city. It is clean, especially for a neat-freak like me, that was the biggest plus. The...

The hostel is not far from bus stops and also metro station. The staff is very helpful and they are available to help you out in everything that you need. The breakfast is very good and it is available during all day, The only bad thing is the noise when you stay in the room next to the breakfast area!...

We spent our night at this hostel during our intermediate stop in Barcelona in our flight from Porto to Athens. We choose this place due to its low price and the nice comments we had read in Internet. We realized though, that the only good thing it has to offer is the price. Everything else was a disaster. The place...

Hostel is a really neat place to stay with a comfy tv room, spacious terrace and breakfast 24/7. The staff here are super friendly and will help out with anything. We loved the vibe here and would highly recommend staying here. Also relatively close to main attractions in the city and easily accessed from the airport/metro.

I stayed for 2 nights in the end of July. The staff were very nice and acommodating. The shower is a bit small but clean. Don't leave food or drink in the shared fridge, because drunk kids might eat it when they are back at night :/ I stayed in a 10 bed dorm and was pleasantly surprised that everyone in my...

This hostel looked kind of weird at first, but after spending the first night there, it was very comfortable. The staff was so friendly, and we got a quick summary of what to do around the city. It's located in a great neighborhood, and is within 10 minutes walking distance from Sagrada Familia, Gaudi House and Casa Batlló. Make sure...

I stayed in lots of hostels but this was terrible. The place was clean, except for the terrace which I thought was a main thing to drink and have fun but looked more like a dirty deposit. I couldn't sleep (and I really needed to after a long flight) since other people were talking loudly and coming in & out...

Staying in Eixample

Neighborhood Profile
Eixample
Passing through the glorious Plaça Catalunya, you enter the newer city district of Eixample, literally translated as “extension,” which immediately becomes recognizable by its more spacious streets and elegant atmosphere. The main artery of this sizable district, Passeig de Gracia, is lined with high-end international designer stores. Not to be outdone, the glitz and glamour of this zone is perhaps best exemplified by the comfortable and lavish five-star hotels that flank the divine and modernistic buildings from some of the world’s most recognized architects such as Gaudi and Montaner.
