Front desk clerk with attitude.
When asked for keys to see unit, very reluctant.
Elevator to top floor ancient, unsafe, tried to cancel, would not do so. When asked to call his manager more attitude.
Outcome, we went elsewhere, booking company credited us the amount,...More
We arrived late, but reception is open all night. There was excellent email communication and we were given directions. Admittedly the entrance is easily missed and the number is very high up on the wall. But we will now find it easily next time. And...More
Great neighborhood with plenty of coffee shops, bars and restaurants plus an incredible brunch spot if that's what you're into. Short walking distance go pl. catalunya and las ramblas. The front desk was amazingly helpful. The rooms were clean and comfortable and extremely well decorated.

Passing through the glorious Plaça Catalunya, you enter the newer city district of Eixample, literally translated as “extension,” which immediately becomes recognizable by its more spacious streets and elegant atmosphere. The main artery of this sizable district, Passeig de Gracia, is lined with high-end international designer stores. Not to be outdone, the glitz and glamour of this zone is perhaps best
exemplified by the comfortable and lavish five-star hotels that flank the divine and modernistic buildings from some of the world’s most recognized architects such as Gaudi and Montaner.

They have both hostel and private room accommodations. The hostel rooms are nice and clean, but typically have bunks for 8 or more. Shared w/c and showers. The private rooms are very nice. We had one of those - they had a queen bed as well as a sofa bed on the enclosed balcony. Very modern, clean, quiet, and comfortable.
