A little bit of noice trough the walls from the neighbours but great room, great service. Hotel Retrome is located perfect for a citytrip! It's located 50m from metrostation Girona. The room had a kitchenette, a big balcony and the bathroom was also very good!

Me and my friend were staying in an apartment room of the hotel and we both really liked the chill vibe of the apartment. You have a great balcony where you can eat a nice quiet breakfast. The hotel also keeps to its name since our room design was very modern retro, which we enjoyed. Furthermore, the room also had... More

The best part of our stay here was our reception by Sanna (hope I am spelling her name right) who greeted us after a long journey with glasses of cold water and hot herbal tea. Before getting down to business, she sat down with us and went over a map of Barcelona with us and answered all of our questions... More

The overall design of the hotel is very cool, and something different than the usual abstract hotels. We slept in one of the appartments, which had two seperate queen size beds, a nice kitchen (with an espresso machine!) and a clean, tidy bathroom. Another lovely thing was the balcony, with a dining table. Most of the time in the room... More

My wife and I stayed here for 3nights. The staff make you feel very special and welcome from the minute we arrived. The hotel itself is very classy and rooms are high spec and very quiet. The location is great too. There are supermarkets within 1min walk. Breakfast is served in a cafe accross the road, again, I couldn't fault... More

Excellent service. They explain the most important points of the city and how to reach them. At reception you'll find a coffee machine. All staff speaks very well English. There is a metro station at 200m. Ramblas, Barcelona Cathedral, Gothic neighborhood at walking distance.

Nice and original hotel, in center of Barcelona. At first glance it looks as a regular master home... no hotel looks. A-typical almost like staying somewhere private. Very nice and warm welcome, you immediately feel at home. No forced environment but do and feel like home attitude... you want a coffee, orange juse, water... just take it and enjoy. Good... More

I love this small boutique B&B. It's in a lovely area made up of small, sensibly priced local bars & restaurants and the metro is close by. This was my second stay and both times have been great. A tips for guests: Walk left out of the front door and then immediately left again at the first cross roads. Across... More

Staying in Eixample

Neighborhood Profile
Eixample
Passing through the glorious Plaça Catalunya, you enter the newer city district of Eixample, literally translated as “extension,” which immediately becomes recognizable by its more spacious streets and elegant atmosphere. The main artery of this sizable district, Passeig de Gracia, is lined with high-end international designer stores. Not to be outdone, the glitz and glamour of this zone is perhaps best exemplified by the comfortable and lavish five-star hotels that flank the divine and modernistic buildings from some of the world’s most recognized architects such as Gaudi and Montaner.
