Where to start.., this Hotel is ideally situated in Barcelona and such a well designed hotel. The staff , they were all amazing Lucca, Maria, Sergio, and Leonardo made us feel so welcome and made our stay memorable. From checking in to dealing with a wheelchair for a medical issue the friendliness and care they showed us was outstanding!! Finding dinner and other spots was easy with their help and great recommendations and insight. The entire experience was truly amazing. The breakfast and the staff upstairs were great. A very nice breakfast with something for most any taste! The room was clean and very functional. I would recommend they place a comfortable chair in the room to enhance the time in the room. I highly recommend Room Mate Pau Barcelona to anyone. The location of this hotel cannot be beat close to LaRambla (two blocks away) as well as transportation (hop on hop off, airport bus, local buses etc) right around the corner. Just Excellent!!!…

Less than a 2 minute walk from the Aerobus stop and right in the heart of the area most tourists will want to be in. We were upgraded to a room with a small balcony, which was a pleasant surprise (although, if you’re looking to book a balcony room, you should know that there’s no privacy as they are all next to each other and the view is of the side of a parking garage). The shower was huge and nicely appointed, however I found it was weird that it opens into the room. Fine if you’re with your spouse, but I was travelling with my teenaged son, so we found ourselves trying to dress inside the wet shower. Breakfast was fantastic and I appreciated that coffee and tea were available all day. I also liked the security of a locked hotel entrance door and needing a key card to access the room floors.…

What a fabulous hotel in the best location. It was the perfect experience from meeting the reception staff, being wowed by the beautiful room and getting spoilt with a delicious breakfast. Will definitely stay there again, absolutely loved it.

Interesting modern design and decorations. Beautiful clean comfortable room with all the facilities you could want. Friendly, welcoming, helpful staff, and the position right next to Plaça de Catalunya is really very good.

What a great hotel, in a terrific location (near Placa Catalunya) in the middle of Barcelona. Very helpful staff who upgraded our room upon our arrival, giving us an executive room overlooking the side street with a small outdoor balcony. The room was huge with a nice walk-in-shower, fridge and safe and plenty of room for storing our luggage out of sight so we could enjoy the room. Comfortable beds and a nice lounge downstairs offering capuccino, espresso, cortado and other fancy coffees all day long. Very close to Placa Catalunya where all the tour buses start, as well as public buses and metro stations, lots of restaurant choices, Las Ramblas and next door to Corte Ingles. If I return to Barcelona I'll stay here again.

From the moment you walk in you feel welcomed. We arrived early so Leandro had a great lunch recommendation to occupy our time while the room was prepared. Everyone at the front desk worked together to help us get our lost bag to us! The breakfast buffet is not only delicious but also beautifully displayed. The staff seems to enjoy working here. Rolando took great care while cleaning the coffee machine. He works constantly cleaning and restocking the buffet. We have stayed in 4 different towns/hotels and this is the most comfortable bed by far. The location is exactly where we wanted to be and near many great restaurants

Our stay was amazing. Right after our check-in, we were offered a higher-category room, that not only was bigger but also had a balcony. The beds were comfortable. The whole room si very nice, equipped with everything we needed. The breakfast is faboulos. My friend needs gluten-free breakfast, and the staff freshly baked for her every day pastries. The food choice was amazing and changed every day. It was an amazing start of the day. Thank you for the kindness of the staff, they're amazing. The hotel's location is perfect, few steps from Piazza Catalunya, where the aiport bus stops and every metro is departing. Also just a corner from the La Rambla.

Nice and friendly personal. Great location, close to many attractions. Modern, clean and convenient. A friend got upgrade - a room with spacious terrace and unexpected shower. Comfy bed, no issues with WiFi We truly enjoyed our stay! Good breakfast until 12 am 🙂

In November of 2022 I booked a cruise from Lisbon to Barcelona. Since we needed a place to stay in Barcelona for two days I watch the YouTube videos and found out that the best area is the Passeig de Gracia . I looked online and found Room Mate Pau. My sister and I arrived at 7:40 AM on 15 May 2023 for a two night stay and our room was already available. I had booked a junior suite and it was fantastic. If you and your spouse are looking for a romantic place to stay this would be it since our room had a large free standing ceramic tub, a waterfall shower, a large comfortable bed, and a private balcony which still gave you a view of the skyline. The room had a mini bar, a safe, two robes, large comfortable seating area, and an assortment of extra necessities, e.g., nail polish remover, shoe polish soaps, etc. The buffet breakfast was absolutely fantastic and a pure delight. There was a coffee machine which made at least five different types of coffees and an assortment of three different size cups. The buffer had things like yogurt, sliced fresh fruit, assortment of meats, special treat of the day, hot entrées, such as eggs and beans, sausages, a variety of additives for your coffee or tea, cereal, along with absolutely delicious, pastries. The hotel location was the best! We were near to metro stops, the hop on hop off bus I was right around the corner at the Placa de Cataluna. we were a 10 minute walk from the Mercad St Joseph’s Bouqueria on the Rambla. You have got to see this market. The fruit was delicious and I wish that we did not have plans for dinner because I would have been chowing down. I cannot say enough things about the hotel staff. I wish I knew the name of the gentleman who checked us in. He made us feel immediately comfortable and answered all our questions. We asked how long it took to get to the airport and he stated to just let them know when we wanted to leave and they would call us a taxi and have it waiting for us. Cecilia was at the front desk in the evening and provided an excellent recommendation to eat at Celler Cala de Vermut which a small hole-in-the-wall tapas place run by a very nice older woman. Roblan was very gracious and friendly at the hotel breakfast buffet. He let us know that the buffet was open until 12 but the coffee machine was available every day until 6 pm. He made us smile each morning. Last but not least I found the price extremely affordable in comparison with a similar hotel located in the center of a bustling US city. Boutique hotel Room Mate Pau made my first stay in Barcelona a very happy memorable event.…
