As above. This hotel requires 2 weeks plus of no fee cancellation period, which is unlike other hotels of the same standard (or higher) and same dates- required only 3 days, that´s how this detail got missed. I added on a breakfast, which for 2 pax is about 40euro, and this got included into the hotel daily rate when I...

I just checked out of this property and I must say that it was great! The staff is super friendly and helpful; specially the front desk team. They were very cordial and always greeted me with a smile. They helped me with all my questions and gave me some really good pointers for places to eat, visit and shop. I...

The Silken Concordia Hotel has a great downtown Barcelona location. The property is nice and clean but small with a small lobby area. The staff was cordial and very helpful but the dining options were limited in the immediate area. All in all it suited our purposes for a quick overnight stay before boarding our cruise ship. It is a...

I really liked this place. The staff were super helpful and efficient. The hotel reception nicely appointed with lovely bar / restaurant and while it is a bit of a walk to tourist spots it is well worth a stay. Rooms are super small but comfortable. The one huge problem was the consistently slow internet. I was on the 1st...

Well appointed, clean, lovely staff. Good location. Stayed 5 nights , comfortable. Enjoyed the roof top bar and pool. ( which is small, but a nice spot to have a Sangria before heading out in the eve.) Great amenities nearby. I would recommend this hotel. Good value.

Im not new to Barcelona but I stayed at this hotel with my best friend in December. Location wise its not too bad as the metro is right outside the hotel walking distance but it is not the closest walking to the main centre e.g la rambla or passeig de gracia. Hotel itself was average, clean room and nice size...

The Silken Hotel Concordia is currently and in steps being refurbished. This not a moment to early. For a 4 stars hotel you would expect better equipped and larger rooms and bath rooms, the bed (mattress) is of very poor quality. Also, on a sunday morning 10 AM the breakfast buffet is rather poor, with fruits, scrambled eggs or butter...

Excellent hotel, in a walking distance from many sites (rambla, pl. espanya), and metro- bus stops. The room in excellent condition, except the temperature regulator which was not working and the temp. Was very high, so that we had to open the window. The breakfast, possibly good, but being very expencive, (15€ per person), we refused to take it.

Good hotel, ideally placed for seeing the sites and good access to the metro system. Rooms were clean with comfortable beds. Pool was adequate but we didn't really use it. we didn't eat in the hotel as there were loads of restaurants and cafes nearby and we didn't want to spend time having breakfast - we preferred to get out...

Staying in Montjuic

Neighborhood Profile
Montjuic
Beyond the four columns standing guard at the Plaça Espanya, beyond even the extravagant and colorful fountains guiding your way up the boulevard, stands the impressive and towering structure of the Palau Nacional, the national museum. At this very spot in front of the cascades of the central fountain, Freddie Mercury and Montserrat Caballe gave the performance of their lifetimes to welcome the 1992 Olympic Games to this magnificent city. And true to its anticipation, the games transformed the city, reimagining the mountain of Montjuic with the development of an arena, stadium, and many other sporting facilities that are open to visitors year-round. Surrounding the adjacent side of the plaza are well-established hotels catering to business guests and a shopping mall transformed out of a historic bullfighting arena.
