Increíble en hotel axel . This hotel is so fine and good and it’s located in example and much within walking distance to the metro and even casa bailo and casa Mila . . Local cafes and restaurants are in this amazing neighborhood, not too much tourists around . The amenities are extra fine and yes everything is so welcoming , from the room with phrases glass to the roof with the pool and bar . The gym is huge for a hotel and I was able to do online training with it . The breakfast was rich and good . In a few hours I’m checking out , sadly , everything was so amazing . I think I found my hotel in Barcelona . Special thanks to Ramiro and Aieser , both were so kind and the ladies in the breakfast room . Again muchas gracias para todo el tiempo en su hotel , hasta luego .

Beautiful hotel with gorgeous rooms, definitely pay the small extra for a deluxe with the enclosed balcony overlooking the city. Spacious with a Lux feel. The Sky Bar is small but for central city is a stunning place to spend the day. Great location friendly staff and I would highly recommend!

Really enjoying our stay at the Axel. Very much a gay theme but straight people and couples made very welcome too. The location is excellent (walking distance to all the nearby tourist hotspots), nice and clean. We haven't eaten here so can't comment on the food. Easy transfer from the airport, just a six euro bus fair (get off at Plas universtat)

Was in town for 9 nights around the MWC convention and the location was perfect in the center of the city with easy access to metro going to and from the convention center. The room was as expected with a clean room, comfortable bed and lots of storage spaces for an extended stay. I sampled the breakfast a few days while I was there and they put out a decent spread of fruit, pastries, meat and cheese as well as some hot egg dishes, yogurts, juices and coffee or tea. While just a little more expensive than just going elsewhere, in the end the convenience was worth it. The standout of the visit however was the staff. They went above and beyond when I arrived earlier than checkin after traveling all night and morning on cramped planes and connections to get a room available to me as soon as they had one and were friendly and helpful for the entire stay. I may have lucked out since I got a room on the opposite side of the street that is undergoing construction so some of the noise complaints I saw in previous reviews were not an issue in my room.…

The location is perfect in Barcelona. The hotel facilities and rooms were perfect. Eric, at the front desk, was very nice, attentive, and supportive during the check-in and check-out process. The hotel gave me an upgrade to a superior room, which was an awesome thing if you are on holiday. I order food service, it is a bit expensive but worth it. I am definitely coming back to this hotel for sure!

We were kindly greeted upon arrival with all smiles. The receptionists (especially Ramiro) were incredibly helpful and immediately acted upon our very few problems. Our stay was faultless and comfy. Thanks again to Ramiro (give that beautiful man a raise! haha;))

The hotel location is excellent. Very closed to great restaurants (La Flat for the best tapas) and local bars and clubs. I stayed for 5 nights and enjoyed the SkyBar (with great views of the city) after a long day doing the tourist things. Staff is friendly and attentive. Danny provided me with great recommendations. Eric helped me too. Breakfast was very nice. Love the variety of hams, cheeses, and breads.

I recently celebrated my birthday earlier this month and I decided to have it at the Sky Bar at Axel Hotel. From the moment I first got in contact with Daniel (months before my party) until we left at 2:00am it was absolute perfect experience. Daniel was so professional from the beginning and made me feel so taken care of. Everything was handled to perfection and no details were missed! All my 35 guests enjoyed the party so much and I heard many of them say that they will organize a party there as well! Daniel, thank you SO much to you and the whole Sky Bar team. It was a dream birthday!
