Went here for drinks at the rooftop bar. They had a great live band playing and the drinks were great. Despite being quite small, the place has a great atmosphere to it. A few of the group got some food and said it tasted great too. Highly recommend.

Where to start, from the staff to the turquoise bathrooms you will not be disappointed. Lets start with the staff, this is where it all begins and what matters the most. Every staff we encountered were pleasant, helpful, and seemed genuinely happy to be there. Reminded working at boutique hotel and finding joy in helping our guest enjoy their stays. I saw the joy I experienced reflected throughout the staff. From the lobby to the breakfast area the ambiance was amazing, you will forget that you are in a bustling city. You are reminded of a modern tropical oasis. Greenery throughout, but with working wifi! We stayed twice, upon our arrival to Spain and at the tail end of the trip before leaving. Our first few nights were in a standard room, but you will not be disappointed. Immaculately clean, beddings were comfortable and fresh. It is noticeable when an establishment does not take the time to update their sheets and comforters, this is not one of them. The decorations and overall style of the room make you feel inspired, as if you your self will sketch the next Picasso artwork. At the tail end of our trip we stayed in a Signature Terrace. What a great choice, the terrace provided a much needed escape from the city ( love the city, just at times a break is needed ). We were able to retreat to the terrace to rest and energize before heading back out for dinner or whatever the day entailed. Thank you so much to the staff and management of Hotel Pulitzer Barcelona. We cannot wait to explore the other Pulitzer hotels and one day return to Barcelona.

Room Tip: La Rambla is nice, but make sure to go to the Gothic Quarter and check out the artesian shops.

I can’t recommend this hotel highly enough. It is now my personal favorite in Europe. There are a few other European cities with a Pulitzer that I will be sure to stay in when traveling in the future. Lovely boutique with full service in excellent location. Quiet street with taxi stand across from the hotel, and just one block to a central square with a lot going on where we picked up hop on/hop off, and just a few blocks to all the action, great restaurants, excellent shopping. All 3 of our rooms were spacious and beautifully appointed. Staff was friendly and attentive. Two of us had brunch once in the hotel’s bar/restaurant and it was excellent. We ate all other meals out. Good selection of restaurants in the immediate neighborhood. The best gelato I’ve ever had (including Italy) across the square. A long walk, but doable, to La Sagrada Familia. You will not regret staying here.

Booked direct with the hotel due to ‘promised’ benefits: free room upgrade, 10% bar discount etc. none of these so called benefits were available, we were told that bar discount did not apply to hotel bar on rooftop! Disastrous breakfast, hot food placed on hot plate, that was broken, hence food lukewarm. This situation was not rectified for the four nights that we stayed! We were refunded one breakfast, after much discussion but the other three we paid €16 each for a very poor experience. I have never before stayed in a hotel that charged €1.50 per nespresso coffee pod for a machine in your hotel room, you were given 4 complimentary pods per stay (not per day)! Receptionist Juan, told me he did not know any contact details for the hotel owner when I requested them, and I could not contact them directly, I would have to contact them via reception. The staff in general (apart from 2 managers) were quite rude and dismissive and hospitality does not seem to be there calling. We were a group of 8 and hence spent quite a lot of money at the hotel for our stay. There are a multitude of hotels close by, any of which I would choose next time over the Pulitzer.

Drinks on the rooftop terrace on Friday night, excellent spot close to Placa Catalunya and very nice venue. Great atmosphere with DJ and seemed a very popular place. Would definitely go back next time we are in Barcelona for another visit. Hotel area looked very nice too

We stayed in the hotel, ate at the rooftop bar and drank in the lobby bar and rooftop. All were excellent. The room was awesome. The coffee machine didn’t work but that’s not the end of the world. The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. We received a free brownie in our room for my husband’s birthday. The rooftop bar had a great atmosphere with live music. The drinks were awesome. The food was very good but not unbelievable. We only had a couple of tapas bits.

This was our second stay at Hotel Pulitzer in Barcelona and we had a wonderful experience. On our first trip in 2019, we stayed in one of the smaller rooms which was comfortable and well appointed with everything you might need during a visit, and this summer, we stayed in a terrace suite which was absolutely exquisite. The staff was attentive and welcoming, and the room was clean, spacious, and thoughtfully laid out. The terrace was incredible with two sun beds, an outdoor shower, and retractable shades. The bathroom in our suite was really beautiful- a rainfall shower and a bathtub, plus a separate toilet area for privacy. When it came time to check out, I wasn’t ready to leave! The room was also quiet, the bed was extremely comfortable, and the pillows were good too. The only critique I really have to offer about our stays (this time and last time) is that the breakfast buffet / offering is very limited. Fortunately, this hotel is well located just by the Ramblas, the gothic quarter, and eixample, so any food option you could possibly desire is just a short walk out the front doors. I will absolutely stay here again and cannot recommend it enough.

I am a tour operator and brought 18 people to Pulitzer Barcelona. This is my third time staying here. The staff is very friendly and helpful. From the moment I made the reservation until the moment I checked out, Pau, from the reservations department made sure that my group felt welcomed and took very good care of us. I feel like he went out of his way to suggest things for us to do and even made a reservation for my group in the rooftop bar for dinner. The rooms are very nice and quite spacious for European hotels. All of the decor is beautiful. I wouldn't stay anywhere else in Barcelona! Thank you Pau and the rest of the Pulitzer staff!

The customer counts! A beautiful hotel, conveniently located, but most importantly, customer oriented. From the moment I checked in, Alba greeted me warmly attentive to my requests after a long day of travel. And who can complain about a welcome drink at the lobby bar? The rooms are well appointed. A soaking bathtub was appreciated by this guest!
