I actually travelled in April 2021, when we were all still negotiating Covid. Barcelona exceeded my expectations and so did the Hotel Pulitzer which my daughter had previously stayed in and recommended. The location was excellent, set in a quieter side street just off the main drag meant it felt more peaceful than it should have. It was a breeze to walk to the main sights from here. The staff were extremely friendly and professional, the public areas were really lovely, particularly the bar and breakfast area. Rooms in Barcelona are small so we booked a deluxe room which turned out to be really nice. The hotel has an unusual atmosphere in that it feels more like a private club you have been lucky enough to be invited to rather than an impersonal hotel. Breakfast was delicious very morning, with plenty of choice, and was worth including in the room rate. I would come back to this hotel in a heartbeat -the only thing I din't like was the sparkling water they served in the bar which is a 'healthy' water served in many places in Barcelona and which is really vile. So please, bar staff, serve an alternative sparkling water to guests and be prepared for me to move in full-time!

We were very happy to come here almost every night of our holiday. The staff was very kind and helpfull and recommended places to go to. the music was nice and pleasant to socialise and drink some very good cocktail and beers with. Thank you very much for the good time there. Good service, good vibes, good drinks. Regards, El rojo y Laurence :)!

Location a few steps from Las Ramblas shopping street and the famous open market La Boqueria (try a super fresh seafood lunch sit down, or tapas stand up). Hotel interior very nicely designed, comfortable and stylish lounges with excellent art and good design (our room alone had 6 incredible pieces). Our room - on the smaller side but with balcony, and updated cool bathroom. Breakfast was very good (Gluten free available, fruit, Spanish pastries, real honey comb, high end meats, lovely berry sauce etc.). Ate breakfast in the interior patio garden in the middle of a huge city! Loved it all. Try restaurant Casa Amelia in a nearby neighborhood. Excellent espresso at hotel but Starbucks around the corner if you are missing American coffee. Rooftop closed for private party, workout club high end.

The hotel has a perfect location just across Plaça de Cataluña, Ramblas and other major areas in Barcelona. Shopping malls and major brands are a walking distance away. It has everything you need from a three to four stars hotel, not very luxurious but clean and very convenient. Some of the staff at breakfast were not very helpful not because they are unfriendly but because they simply don’t understand English.

This lovely boutique hotel is a gem. It is located literally around the corner from the famous La Rambla and a plaza which is a major hub for city tours. It is also walking distance to the Picasso Museum. The staff is super friendly and welcoming. Kudos to Juan at the front desk and Dario in the breakfast lounge. The front desk staff always extended themselves and printed us walking maps when we asked. The property itself is lovely with a sleek modern feel. There is a wonderful, comfortable atrium bar and lounge. Additionally, there is a great "Terrace" bar on the roof. We would have spent more time in the roof bar, except it is open to locals and private parties, at which times we felt very un-welcome. I was even asked to leave once. Bummer. Our room was small but we had a cute patio which was nice.

We did not know anything about Hotel Pulitzer except reviews we read on line. I would now recommend this to anyone who would ask for a recommendation. Location perfect for vacation in Barcelona. Staff was so helpful and went out of their way to be there for us. Room was average in size but very comfortable. Breakfast was included with our rate and they included freshly made eggs dishes. There is a rooftop bar with music that was perfect but get there early as it fills up. Location is a block from LaRambla but without the crowds and noise. Also right where on and off buses located.

Worst service in my life. I have never been treated like this. Awful. Never go. The staff wouldn't let me go back to my room while I was finishing to pay. This never happened in my life. Expensive for horrible service? Just don't go.

Lobby and Restaurant is lovely and spacious.. The average room is small with not enough space to lie your suitcase flat, no desk ... then there is the rooftop.. suppose to be an area to relax and have a few drinks - pity it turns into a full-on party with thumping sounds - fine if you're on holiday, not so fine if you're there for work, and your room on the floor right underneath and try and sleep .. all reception does is apologise and say the music will stop at 11 pm

I would have given the hotel 5 stars if it wasn't for this incident. I asked not to be next to the club because in Madrid, I was next to the club and didn't get any sleep. The young lady said she would not. Well, when we got to our room, it was next to the elevator and BELOW the club! I asked if they could move us but said the club was only open until 11pm and it was only one day. Well, the club ended by 12am but there were still staff moving stuff until 2am. At that point, we have already unpacked and just barred with it. Young lady was very sorry and apologetic. The hotel is centrally located in the heart of Barcelona. We were able to walk to most of the places we we wanted to visit. The staff was very nice. Overall, I would stay there again, just not in room 510 :)
