The hotel is perfectly located for wandering round Barcelona on foot. We did the main sights - Cathedral, various Gaudi buildings, La Rambla, port area. The bus from the airport goes to Placa de Catalunya and the stop is a 2 minute walk from the...More
We stayed one night here. Very close to the beach and lots of bars/ restaurants in walking distance. The rooms are fine with the exception of the AC does not work! I ended up opening all the windows to relieve the stuffiness. The breakfast is...More

The location is perfect right on Plaza Catalunya. The rest is very average. You walk through a shop to get to the reception. I have stayed there several times. The rooms are very different. Get a room with a view to Las Ramblas.
Once a downtrodden corner of downtown Barcelona, this gritty area has seen a cultural resurgence boasting an excellent nightlife and one of the most multi ethnic spots in the entire city. A sense of humble authenticity protrudes from the many independent record stores, second hand shops, and student bars that seem to light up the streets day and night. The rocking epicenter, the MACBA Plaça, is a modern day
forum for bohemian youth, abuzz with the sights and sounds of late-night gatherings and talented skateboarders showing off their latest tricks.
