The hotel is very well located and the breakfast is fine but there are signs of mold in bathrooms. Also you can smell the mold entering the lobby. We found signs of mold in our bathroom, so if you're allergic, etc. I don't recommend it!

My daughter and I spent a week in Barcelona and chose this hotel mainly because of it's location and price. You just need to walk out of the hotel, take a right turn and the first street you will come to will be "Rambla de Catelunya" which is a street filled with many terrace style restaurants. If you continue to... More

Barcelona is very expensive for hotels so this was the cheapest in this category I could find. Excellent location, just couple of steps from Passeig de Gracia and walkable distance to Catalunya and Las Ramblas - but this is a very safe, classy area. Good size rooms. Shower could have been better - more powerful.

good hotel, walking distance from Plaça Catalunya, casa Batllò, casa Pedrera and the Rambla. wide room, queen size beds, very good for families and groups. road nearby is a source of noise (traffic) but windows were mitigating it effectively. breakfast quite poor but in the average.

I found this to be an excellent hotel. The room I had was small fairly small bit very pleasant, and I had a lovely view. The hotel had a very pleasant atmosphere and would be my first choice if returning to Barcelona.

Very convenient hotel situated a stone's throw from Passeig de Gràcia and from Plaça Catalunya, metro, shops (24 hour supermarket round the corner) and the general "buzz". Mine, a single room, was small but adequate. Bed was comfortable. The room had a desk with a chair and wifi speeds (on speedtest.com) came in at around 7Mb download. Staff was friendly... More

Staying in Eixample

Neighborhood Profile
Eixample
Passing through the glorious Plaça Catalunya, you enter the newer city district of Eixample, literally translated as “extension,” which immediately becomes recognizable by its more spacious streets and elegant atmosphere. The main artery of this sizable district, Passeig de Gracia, is lined with high-end international designer stores. Not to be outdone, the glitz and glamour of this zone is perhaps best exemplified by the comfortable and lavish five-star hotels that flank the divine and modernistic buildings from some of the world’s most recognized architects such as Gaudi and Montaner.
