Stayed in October 2017. Excellent location (nearest metro stations Barcelonetta, Line 4, Drassanes, Line 3). Close to the sea area, within walking distance from La Rambla, Pl. Catalunya. Very close to the Cathedral, Picasso museum (5 minutes walk). Very clean, staff very friendly. Some rooms...More

You do not feel welcome! The entire place is filled with signs: don't do this, don't do that. Nothing about "welcome" or "have a pleasant stay". So there is something wrong with the atmosphere from the first moment you enter. The location is great, the...More

Went to Barcelona to see Aerosmith (the greatest rock 'n roll band!). Stayed here for 2 nights. Basically no frills. It was cheap, very clean small rooms, safe and quiet at night as you have to ring night bell for the nightwatchman to answer to...More

Stayed 3 nights here with my partner (two Aussies in early 20s). The staff were lovely and the facilities were clean. Very easy walk to beach, shops, metro and famous skating spots. Excellent value for money, would recommend to anyone looking for decent budget accomodation!

We were a bit dubious when we first arrived as it appeared to be a young persons hostel. As a mature couple, we had serious doubts about our booking. However, we got what we'd booked - a double room with an en-suite bathroom. It also...More

Originally a fisherman’s quarter, this quaint area
can’t escape its small village feel: laundry hanging
over the narrow streets, old ladies clamoring at each
other from their balconies and elder gentlemen playing
games on short wooden benches gossiping the day away,
Barceloneta could double as a film set. Artists line
the boardwalk displaying their magnificently detailed
sand structures making this the most visited beach in
