I like the set up for a family of 4 with 2 twin beds along the wall. Super efficient. We had some technical issues with the AC and the safe but all were resolved. Staff were mostly very friendly and helpful. Management comped us for the broken AC problem. Location was pretty good. Not as centrally located as some, depending on what you plan to do, but it was nice right along the water. Overall really enjoyed it there.

The hotel was in a perfect location to explore Barcelona; right on the harbor but on the edge of the gothic quarter. Perfect. Although being on a major thoroughfare it was quiet in the rooms. The staff were all very professional and John at the front desk was a gem. He was super friendly, very thorough and was willing to assist with any items we might have. Every day he would greet us and ask how are day was and where we had been. On two different occasions he secured reservations to restaurants we had tried but failed to get in. He made us feel as if we were the only people at the hotel and it was always pleasant to visit upon our return to the hotel. The roof top bar was a great spot to have a night cap as it affords a fantastic view overlooking the harbor. All in all, a great hotel, comfy rooms, terrific pillows, and very professional staff. John made our stay even better. …

The location, the food, the rooms and the rooftop bar - everything was amazing. But most importantly - the staff was probably the sweetest and most service -minded hotel crew I have ever met!! I think we met 5 different people in the reception but what they had in common was that they did their utmost to help us out and secure that we had a pleasant stay. And they did in such a natural and sweet way- so nice!! I have to add that despite quite heavy travellng throughout my life I have never had such a good sleep as in Duquesa. The room was dark, cold and quiet and offered a beautiful shower and the bedside coffee option that just take you to 100% awake after a 9 hour sleep🤩 Thanks Duquesa and staff- we'll be back!!

Front Desk staff was amazing. Ruben was just phenomenal and amazing. The room was very nice and comfortable. The bedding comfortable. The service was outstanding. The roof top views were awesome and such a nice place to relax after a long day. I would highly recommend this hotel.

We really enjoyed our stay at Hotel Duquesa de Cardona. The location is perfect in the Gothic Quarters of Barcelona. The service was impeccable. The service staff goes above and beyond for their patrons. They are very pro-active. We stayed there because our friends were staying at the SoHo House a few doors down, which was much pricier. But besides that, the service was 10x better at the Hotel Duquesa de Cardona. They respect their patrons and don't treat people with snobbish attitude like they do at the SoHo house (maybe except for celebrities?). Their buffet breakfast was good, even one of the SoHo House staff members came for the buffet breakfast one morning.

Very nice hotel, closely located to Gothic Quarter and to the beach. Clean and silent rooms, good breakfast. Rooms hav double windows so no noise pronlem at all. Staff was very helpful. Christina and Enrico were especially kind and they helped us a lot by reccomendations, bookings etc.

This is a first class hotel. Amazing service and excellent food. The breakfast buffet was one of the best I’ve ever experienced and I have traveled a lot. The room was beautiful, comfortable beds and great amenities. Location was perfect as well.

My wife and I spent our 3 nights in Barcelona at this hotel and we are sure glad we did. Everything was perfect. The staff are amazing and they get to know your name (I don't know if that's a good thing....LOL)! Our room was on the 4th floor and was a nice sized space with a large washroom that had a separate show and tub. Bed, A/C, amenities, etc, all were excellent. Especially the sound proofing as this is an active area in the evenings. The roof top bar is wonderful however they seemed a bit short staffed when we visited (on all three nights). Great vistas of the harbour, ocean and the hustle and bustle of the main road below. Breakfast was absolutely top notch with an amazing variety. The location of this hotel is probably the best in Barcelona with everything right there or a short walk away. Would definitely stay here again. …

We stayed at this hotel 1 night last week.. It. Was. AWESOME. It started by Ruben seeing us pull up in a taxi with 4000 pieces of luggage, and on his own darted outside with a luggage cart to assist us! He has an amazing fun personality and was EXTREMELY helpful in many aspects...and the front desk manager gal went above and beyond as well for us! This hotel is GORGEOUS, and the rooftop restaurant was super yummy!! As well as the gal who was our waitress..she is from India and noticed my bindi I was wearing, and we immediately started up a delightful chat about India. EVERYONE at this hotel is top notch, as well as the rooms and amenities. We will absolutely stay here again!

Our second time to stay at this property. We wanted to return as we enjoyed the stay so much the 1st time around and couldn't wait to get back here. Immediately we were impressed, the front desk staff that checked us in were really friendly and they must have had a record of our last visit as they were aware it wasnt our first time to visit. Our room was beautiful, really clean and tidy with load of toiletries that you might need. There was a mini fridge that was fully stocked and They aslo has a chromecast option on the tv so we couldn't watch something in the evening. The rooftop bar is wonderful, overlooking the harbour and we spent our first evening just relaxing up there. We also ate there and the food was really nice. We didnt eat in the hotel the last time we stayed so it was great to have lovely food without having to go out. They also have entertainment up there in the evenings and there was cocktail demonstration evening that was free for hotel guests. The breakfast room was also new to us. I think they've made massive improvment here since our last visit. The selection of food was big and the area to sit in was lovely. Breakfast runs from 7am till 11 which i though was really good as a lot of hitel finished breakfast a bit early for me. The staff were all exceptional. The waiting staff in the bar and breakfast room were really friendly and got you anything you needed. The front desk staff were really helpful with taking care of our bags after we checked out and arranged a taxi to the airport for us.
