Wonderful hotel with top class service.
Breakfast and dinner great quality, reasonable pricing. Staff (including Peter in the restaurant!) could not do enough for you. One reception staff member went and purchased an adapter for us as we had forgotten ours! They very clearly will “bend over backwards” for you!
The beds…. AMAZING. The sheets are so soft and top quality.

Overall I would stay again.
Sitting outside in the warm Barcelona air at 9pm as I write this, watching the staff working hard serving tables. Thankyou for a lovely safe stay x

Dear Tiffany, Thank you for your heartwarming review! We’re absolutely delighted to hear that you had such a wonderful experience with us and that our team, including Peter, made your stay special. It’s great to know that you appreciated the quality of our breakfast and dinner, as well as the comfort of our beds. Your mention of our staff's dedication, including going the extra mile to get an adapter for you, truly reflects the level of service we aim to provide. We’re thrilled that you felt safe and well-cared for during your stay. There’s nothing quite like enjoying the warm Barcelona air, and we’re so glad you had the chance to relax and take in the atmosphere. We can’t wait to welcome you back for another stay in the future. Warm regards, Marina Pons Guest Experience Manager

Really nice clean hotel with really helpful and friendly staff. Checked in nice and quick and the staff gave us suggestion for restaurants to go to near by. Considering it was the female staff (didn’t catch her name) second day she was very helpful booking the city bus tour with the stop being just down the road. Room was cleaned every day with fresh tea and coffee topped up. The roof top pool was lovely (didn’t use it as it’s March!) with great views as well. Fantastic location just opposite Citadel Park and only 20/25minute walk from the main square and 20 minutes walk to the beach. It’s a really nice hotel with great staff only reason didn’t give it 5 stars was that the breakfast was a little steep at €15 each per day and the bar offered little to no food in the evening. Other than that I would be happy to stay there again.

Our family + Mother & Father in law stayed for 7 nights from August 2nd to 9th 2021.

We had side facing rooms which were nice and peaceful and really enjoyed our stay , the hotel is in a great location on the edge of El Born with loads of Bars/ Cafes / Supermarkets / shops within a short stroll .

Ciutadella Park is right across the street and nearby is Arc De Triomf Barcelona .
Barceloneta Beach is a 15 minute walk or 5 minutes in a Taxi

The Barcelona open top Bus stops right outside the hotel entrance and you can buy tickets from reception in advance.

Breakfast is a buffet which is nice but space is limited so be prepared to wait in peak season .
The rooftop pool and relaxation areas are nice with good views.

The staff are some of the nicest people you will ever meet in a hotel , a special mention must go to Sara on reception who is just fantastic and can arrange everything from dinner reservations to PCR tests .

The Manager, Marina is such a lovely lady who goes out of her way to look after guests and we will never forget her kindness on our checkout day as we had a late flight leaving Barcelona.

This was my 2nd visit to KK Picasso and my families first time , we will stay there again whenever we next visit Barcelona.

We've stayed at the K&Ks in London and Paris and were expecting the same standards. However, the Picasso fell short in so many ways. First, there's no bellman to help with the luggage and show you around the room. Initially, there was no complimentary water in the room, and we had to ask for it. There were also no guest toiletries, unless you count a bottle of shampoo and soap in the shower. The room was not soundproof, but "sound reduced" as explained by the hotel desk clerk, so because the room was located on the "better" non-street side, which has several restaurants nearby, it was really noisy for three of the five nights we were there. Granted, it was the weekend of Halloween and All Saint's holiday, but the website emphasizes "quiet rooms" several times, so we were very disappointed. (A few weeks earlier, we stayed at the Icon Malabar in Malaga in the middle of the action in a corner room with lots of windows and two balconies, and when the soundproof windows and balcony doors were closed, any noise was just a whisper, so we know soundproofing is possible!) We were offered a room on a higher floor or the noisy street side, but couldn't imagine it would make any difference, because we were told all the soundproofing in the hotel was the same, so we stayed where we were. Additionally, the room was dark with one hall light and two lights on either side of the bed. The bathroom was dark, also, with the brightest light in the shower and dimmer ones over the sink and mirror. Plus, the bath/shower combo leaked water onto the floor through the moveable, small glass barrier. And finally, there was the strange bathroom door of frosted glass, the light blazing onto the bed whenever we needed to use the toilet in the middle of the night. The positives were excellent wifi, a great location directly across the street from Ciutadella Park, and a 10-minute walk to the Gothic Quarter and 20 minutes to the beach. The breakfast was also excellent, and the staff was friendly and accommodating. Our room was a cozy urban with a balcony. $200 per night including breakfast.

The hotel is just great for location, value and service. Our room was really nice - super clean and well equipped with an excellent shower and amenities. There's a kettle and fridge in your room and a nearby supermarket so we were happy to make tea but there's also free tea and coffee available at all hours in reception.
The best thing about the hotel though is it's excellent staff - especially Sara from Reception. Literally, nothing is too much trouble - she even organised our pre flight covid tests as well as excellent restaurant reservations and even called them ahead of time to arrange a birthday drink and cake for my daughter. I saw her attention to all guests (in three languages!) and she was always smiling, helpful and super professional. She made our whole holiday seamless, easy and stress free.
Very impressed!

Myself and my mum stayed at K+K Hotel Picasso for three nights for my mums 60th Birthday. We stayed in a corner room which had lovely views, the room was very clean and spacious, there was water in the fridge and the room was tidied each day. The location was perfect for both the marina and beach as well as getting into the city to see all the attractions. There was a City Tour bus stop right outside the hotel which was very convenient. Breakfast was delicious, there was a good range of hot and cold food items, we had to check out early due to having a mid morning flight and the staff were very helpful and ensured we had breakfast before we left. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the city. Thank you again.

We checked out of K+K 2 days ago after a 7 day stay and cannot say enough good things about the hotel. Our room was a "Cozy Urban" on the 3rd floor facing the street. It was quiet and comfortable. The bathroom and shower were large and had great towels (but no washcloths). We booked with breakfast included and the buffet was excellent everyday with something for everyone. Happy hour at the small bar is 6-7pm everyday. You can enjoy a house wine for less than 3 euro inside or at outside seating. Getting there from the airport was a 39 euro ride. The taxi operation at the airport is a well oiled machine. We chose to taxi instead of public transit to avoid the pickpockets. Around the hotel are multiple restaurants. We ate at 3 of them and they were all good. Note, if you eat at the outside terrace seating there is a 10 to 15% up charge at all of the restaurants. The location is very close to the Picasso Museum and the Modern art museum MOCO. There is a stop directly in front of the hotel for the Hop on Hop off bus run by Greyline. One last thing, in the plaza behind the hotel there is an Aldi’s . We picked up some bottled water, cokes and a bottle of wine for the room there.

This hotel is not right in the middle of everything, but it is only about a 15 minute walk to Plaza de Catalunya. Still, lots of restaurants, shops, museums, etc. very close by. Very easy to catch a taxi out front.
Rooms are smallish as are the public spaces...but how much time do you spend in your room when you're in Barcelona?
We arrived at 8 am after an overnight flight from the US and they had a room available; for an extra 15 euros we checked in early. This was really nice as we were exhausted and in need of showers.
Breakfast is good; nothing out of the ordinary for European hotels.
Staff is friendly and helpful.
One drawback is that our room faced the courtyard and there was a fair amount of noise during the day. Someone in the apartment building that shares the courtyard played music with the window open--good playlist though! It did get quiet at night.

It was an interesting experience staying in this hotel, we stay last December for 3 days in two rooms, unfortunately staff was very limited, we ask several times to replace the broken coffee machine and nobody came to our room, we had only one water bottle during our stay. HVAC control didn't work and wasn't possible adjust the room temperature, we needed to open the window. The sofa mattress for my kid, was really old too! They skip cleaning one day of one of the rooms we had, later they excused with Covid measures and the door haven't the sign to "please clean".

Beds are not confortable, because the mattress are too old, same for the room carpet and bathroom need to be updated, when you turn the light of the bathroom in the middle of the night, the whole room will be illuminated because que wall is a stain glass. I know Barcelona is an expensive city, but this time I can tell this hotel is overpriced.

Location is good, is very central and very close good restaurants and bars. Reception staff were very kind and helpful. Breakfast and service in restaurant was very good.

I choose this hotel using Trip Advisor Plus, I called to cancel my stay once we entered to the room, but Trip Advisor made me wait on the line for 20 minutes in long distance call, then when the specialist finally answered had a really bad attitude and in arrogant tone, said: "once you are checked in not possible to change your reservation". So be very careful with this TA service, reviews could be tricky sometimes, and for sure Trip Advisor will won't help you if you don't feel confortable in the place you'll choose. Trip Advisor Plus ONLY offer discounts, not quality support, this time discount was an illusion.

We booked our room with a breakfast included rate. I don't remember the upcharge, but I believe it was well worth it. The buffet is excellent.

The HOHO bus is too expensive compared to the various options, Taxi would be much faster and cheaper, As for the HOHO bus the cruise stop is after the hotel stop so you would actually have to sit in the bus for about more than an an hour to reach the hotel. Whereas it is only a 15 minute walk.
