Passing through the glorious Plaça Catalunya, you enter the newer city district of Eixample, literally translated as “extension,” which immediately becomes recognizable by its more spacious streets and elegant atmosphere. The main artery of this sizable district, Passeig de Gracia, is lined with high-end international designer stores. Not to be outdone, the glitz and glamour of this zone is perhaps best exemplified by the comfortable and lavish five-star hotels that flank the divine and modernistic buildings from some of the world’s most recognized architects such as Gaudi and Montaner.

Very bad facilities! The worst hostel I have ever stayed in my life! I tried to check-out at 7am, but nobody was there until 9:30, I had to run to be able to check-out on time so I wouldn’t be charged. I don’t recommend this place. The only thing I liked was that they have to

This is probably the worst place I've ever stayed in. I knew I wouldn't get much for the price but it was worse than I imagined. The rooms and beds are VERY dirty. They probably haven't cleaned them since the opening. The guy at the desk didn't want to come to check us in (after

Awful, dirty, non-secure, loud and terrible place in Barcelona. Bathrooms dirty and mostly closed by the staff who didn't really want to clean anything. I know it's a hostel, but it looks more like a homeless shelter or some drug den. I wouldn't recommend it to my enemy.

Don't stay at this hostel if you don't want to be robbed. The place has no security and the owners don't bother about that. Please look for another place to stay if you want your things to stay with you. I was robbed in this hostel during my stay. My laptop, sunglasses and

It is a fine hostel for a short stay. (For me 1 night only) The building and furniture are really old but everything works fine. It crosses to a pretty busy road so it is kind of noisy. There is no airconditioning so inside the bedrooms it is really hot.

"The best advice is to avoid this place."
"Choose another hostel, this place is baaaaaaaaaad!!!"
"You could get much better accommodation for this money. Just like we did after this experience. The position is good, but the metro connection is so good in Barcelona that it also looses importance at the same time. "
"its in Gran via"
"We had a room on the west-side which is more loud (since it's at one of the main streets that runs through Barcelona), but also has a nicer view."
