Where can I start? First, they will charge you for ANYTHING. To pay the hostel by card, towel, padlock, arriving after 00:00 (10€ if you arrive between 00 and 01, 15€ between 01 and 02 and so on). Second, herbalife ridiculous advertisements ALL OVER!! It's creepy even. They say it's "free breakfast" and keep offering before the arrival. Turns out... More

This hostel is located on a busy main street called Grand Via in a city center. It's right next to the University of Barcelona thus excellent for young people. Famous Gaudi building - Casa Batlo and La Pedrera are also very close. Playa de Catalunya, busy street La Rambla and the port are also reachable within few minutes. Lots of... More

My arrival started good. I arrived in the middle of the night and got taken care of very well. I could go to sleep immediatly and pay and fix everything the next morning, which created a feeling of trust. But after this first expierience everything went kind of down hill. The rooms and bathrooms weren't really clean, everything was sticky... More

My husband stayed at this hostel May 2015 and got his laptop stolen. Which wouldn't necessarily create a bad review however the manager was uninterested. The laptop was stolen out of a locked locker. The CCTV wasn't switched on and the management weren't helpful at all. The access code to the hostel wasn't changed regularly either so previous 'guests' would... More

A nice cosy hostel for people of young ages and old. The location is key, right in city centre. The wi-fi works but isn´t strong. The beds are fine. The workers are pleasent and friendly and speak english. The stairs are a pain to climb when coming in from a long night, and if in the wrong room you could... More

Staying in Eixample

Neighborhood Profile
Eixample
Passing through the glorious Plaça Catalunya, you enter the newer city district of Eixample, literally translated as “extension,” which immediately becomes recognizable by its more spacious streets and elegant atmosphere. The main artery of this sizable district, Passeig de Gracia, is lined with high-end international designer stores. Not to be outdone, the glitz and glamour of this zone is perhaps best exemplified by the comfortable and lavish five-star hotels that flank the divine and modernistic buildings from some of the world’s most recognized architects such as Gaudi and Montaner.
