The outside and the entry of the hotel look like a renovation has taken place (compared to the rooms). The rooms are clean but a bit out dated. The lady who's cleaning the rooms is doing a great job. The guy at the reception (Andres) is a great entertainer & helpful, he knows even more about Barcelona then Google does. The breakfast is not as you have at the major hotels but sufficient, tasty and sufficient.

Hotel looks nice enough and appears clean. The included breakfast is very good. But, apparently, the building has no insulation within the walls. Very noisy place with only 2 hours or so quiet 3 to 4 AM. And, the bad smells the fill the room! The room often smells like the adjacent public toilet! Really bad midnight to 2 AM. If you stay here, BRING YOUR EAR PLUGS if you want sleep at night.

Poor customer services. Rooms are OK but smell very unhygienic and not all rooms have all the furniture described. Not cheap despite being only a two-star hotel. Very unprofessional receptionists . Would not recommend at all.

Booked this for somewhere clean and comfortable to rest after a day exploring the city. It fits that bill perfectly. I has a single room which was rather small but adequate enough. As a solo travelling female I wanted somewhere in a safe area this was perfect Close to 2 metro stations Mundet and Valluara. And if you are after a cheap and cheerful meal, Bat Soto accross the road is perfect. If you are after luxury look elsewhere. But for basic, clean and comfortable Colors is perfect

This hotel perfectly fit our needs. It was located outside of the city center, but very near the Green line Metro, which is the line that nearly all big tourist locations are on. Andrés is a fantastic host. He was helpful in showing us how best to get around, and offered insight to some of the best locations in the city. He was a smiling face each morning. The breakfast was exactly as expected, with good coffee to go with it too! The only downside was the poor room placement...we were just next to the entry ramp at street level, so it was certainly noisy at all hours, between the street traffic and the foot traffic. The bed was firm, but incredibly comfortable. The staff quickly helped us to get two extra pillows as well. All-told, I would certainly stay here again...just ask for a higher level room.
