Ronda Hotel is, for sure, an excelent options. Very clean, pretty spacious rooms, good breakfast, nice and friendly staff. And, very important, pretty good situate, close to the Les Rambles, Placă Catalunya and Sagrada Familia. I strongly recomended this Little nice hotel.

i love the breakfast, there´s a lot of bread(with chocolates, ensaimada, pan, croissants, brown bread) fresh fruits, we don´t have to eat outside until 3pm,(which is normal lunch time in Barcelona) The afternoon lady in recepcion, is very educated. she helps us out to where to go. she informed us with options, very informative. the cheapest way to visit the city,... Where should I start with this? Ah yes, 3 star hotel? Ermmm defiantly not! More like a place that if knocked down would have more chance of getting a star rating. The location is terrible, on some dirty streets of the city, defiantly not safe, and then you step inside. The smell and presentation of the "hotel" is very poor.... More

Ok for 1 night stay before going on a cruise and we will certainly use it again. The WiFi is excellent and super fast, buffet breakfast was fine. The location is not bad and only 10 minutes walk from Las Ramblas. It was 31 Euros from the airport and it is close to the University cafes / restaurants & bars.

Stayed for 3 nights 7~10 Oct 2015 The room was small but nice cleaned and clean towels every day. Breakfast was quite good but could have been hotter, a microwave would be helpful. The hotel is positioned well for exploring Barcelona Staff were helpfu and friendly Would stay again We enjoyed our stay

We were very happy with the Hotel Ronda in the Raval area of Barcelona. It's a budget hotel and we were not expecting the moon ... just a clean room in a convenient area and within walking distance of public transport. Hotel Ronda satisfied our wants. The Hotel is literally 3/5 minutes easy walk from the San Antoni subway with... More

The location is really good, but the hotel isn't really the best. The rooms weren't clean, there was an awful, dirty, badsmelling balcony and the toilet was mot the nicest. In the shower the water didn't flow down. The breakfast was penurious, the coffee served was terrible. the personal wasn't kind at all.

Stayed here for 3 nights in September. Very clean rooms, towels changed everyday and rooms cleaned.Breakfast was ok. Staff very friendly and helpful answering all our questions about what to see and do. 10minutes walk from las rambles and metro station close by. Only fault was that it was noisy into the night outside the hotel.

Staying in El Raval

Neighborhood Profile
El Raval
Once a downtrodden corner of downtown Barcelona, this gritty area has seen a cultural resurgence boasting an excellent nightlife and one of the most multi ethnic spots in the entire city. A sense of humble authenticity protrudes from the many independent record stores, second hand shops, and student bars that seem to light up the streets day and night. The rocking epicenter, the MACBA Plaça, is a modern day forum for bohemian youth, abuzz with the sights and sounds of late-night gatherings and talented skateboarders showing off their latest tricks.
