Actually stayed here with a friend during May 2015 in a double private room but just got around reviewing our stay. I'll start by saying that we loved Barcelona, don't think about it you should definitely visit. The things I loved about this hostel : super location, good free wifi and top-notch cleaning! The room had old furniture, not really a... More

My boyfriend and I stayed at Hostal Levante during late June/ early July for 7 nights. It was our second visit, having already stayed here during July 2015. We were allocated room 408 which was a decent size and had a window and small balcony onto Carrer d'Avinyó below. Our room was cleaned everyday with fresh towels left. As the... More

location of the hostel is brilliant, just off Las Ramblas close to the Cathedral, a clean basic room at a good price. As a very light sleeper I found the noise from the street disturbed me as did the coming and going of other guests, but if you are a deep sleeper then this is an ideal place. Free Wi-Fi !

Very good. My wife and I and 9 yr old daughter stayed for a couple days. Very good central location. Very clean room, a little small but fine if you will spend most of your time outside.no problems with any other people staying at the hotel and front desk lady was nice.

The location is very central which is nice. However, at night is was incredibly loud as the windows are very bad. Also do not leave anything of value or cash in the room. If something disappears from your locked room they won't give a damn. This was a very unpleasant experience! In general the staff including the "manager" was rude,... More

Don't let the "hostal" tag put you off! Amazing price in the heart of barca. 16 of us stayed here for one night and we will be going back (as individuals as well as our group trip next year). The location is perfect...a nice quiet side street...but only 2 mins to the buzzing Ramblas. Staff were great, 16 of us...and... More

It blends historic artifacts from its days under Roman dominion up through the Spanish Civil War with a vibrant modern-day culture of artisan shops and authentic culinary experiences. Avid explorers will be thrilled to discover quaint terraces and plazas brought to life by the many small bars and local musicians lasting late into the night. Fashionistas will be drawn to Portal de L’Angel, which is lined with well-known brand names and smaller boutique stands.
