The location of this hotel what absolutely perfect for anyone that likes to stay right in the heart of this amazing city, slap bang in the center of barcelonas main street. One would think that it would be noisey in the hotel with the bustle of people outside but actually it was nice and quiet. The room itself was very clean...

When we saw the view from our room, we were initially disappointed BUT during our 3 night stay, we realised that, having a room at the back of hotel was a definite advantage! The front rooms would have been very noisy! The hotel staff were extremely helpful and welcoming. The breakfast gave a reasonable choice (excellent coffee) and the location...

Great location right on the Rambla. Liceu and Drassannes metro nearby. The room was nice and quiet with a terrace. The breakfast was good and included in our rate which was really good value given the location.

Stayed here four nights to explore Barcelona. Situated halfway along La Rambla it was ideal. Room was on the 2nd floor (actually the 4th floor!) but there was a lift, and was at the back of the hotel. Room and ensuite were both large and clean bed was comfy and the room was serviced everyday. (Room tip - ask for...

My husband and myself stopped at this hotel in October 2016. The location is great, near the bottom of La Ramblas. Breakfast was OK with some scrambled egg, omelette slices, bacon or sausage being available each morning as well as continental options. We requested a quieter room around the back of hotel in advance after booking, and we were allocated...

The location of course is awesome, right at Ramblas, 100m from the Colom The room is basic, clean & hygienic. The reception is always eager to help. The breakfast is very good. Metro station is very close. And it's in the heart of street shopping and there are plenty of restaurants around. Highly recommended

The hotel is a perfect location,on Rambla, near the metro station Liceu. The stuff is very friendly and the breakfast is tasty-cofee,tee,eggs,ham,salami,jam,honey,croissants and cakes.Rooms were cleaned daily. Bathroom is very clean too,and it has hairdryer. A minus for beds ( not too confortable) and another minus for noise from outside- we had to buy ear plugs from farmacy to be able...

Staying in La Rambla

Neighborhood Profile
La Rambla
Barcelona's most famous street was once a dry riverbed. Now, La Rambla is a 1200-meter boulevard, and a major draw for visitors. During the day, La Rambla fills with pedestrians, some of which stroll past impressive human statues and artists while others take a break to people-watch while enjoying a drink at one of the many terraces. Housed here is the iconic Boqueria Market that offers one of the most varied and appetizing selections of local produce and specialty meats and treats. While it’s important for tourists to keep an eye on their belongings at all times, this area is most safely explored in the daytime and is a must see for everyone who visits.
