Barrio Gòtico (Barri Gòtic)
With its iconic, old-Europe streets and alleys, this picturesque neighborhood is the very heart of Barcelona. It blends historic artifacts from its days under Roman dominion up through the Spanish Civil War with a vibrant modern-day culture of artisan shops and authentic culinary experiences. Avid explorers will be thrilled to discover quaint terraces and plazas brought to life by the many small bars and local musicians lasting late into the night. Fashionistas will be drawn to Portal de L’Angel, which is lined with well-known brand names and smaller boutique stands.

We were only in Barcelona for 2 days. This hotel is right on the Rambla, but we didn't get any noise. Nice room, with small balcony for viewing the Rambla. We were less than a mile to the waterfront. Reasonable price and good breakfast. Would recommend.

Everything was ok. Personal was amabile, breakfast good, and the cleaning was satisfaying. The location of the hotel was perfect! On the first day we were very tired after a night on the roads, and we got there at 9 a.m. My son fall asleep on the couch in the lobby. They saw that and they prepare the room, and they let us in at 10.30 , although the official hour of check in was 15. IT was so good, we fall asleep instantly. We couldn't resist to 15. Thank You for that.

This hotel on La Rambla is in the absolute perfect location for walking in Barcelona. Basic but comfortable rooms. Really good breakfast selection. 2 min walk to closest metro Liceu. Although on very busy street, we asked for room at the back and the room had good sound proofing windows. Highly recommended this hotel.

Great location. Hotel is really good for being a 2*. The breakfast is also better than expected. My room was fantastic La Rambla and it was really noisy at night. But I had a small balcony with view of La Rambla. In the room it was a little light and to little pressure in the shower.

This is the fourth hotel we have stayed at in Barcelona. By far it was the best for location, and a very nice facility. The bathroom had been modernized. There was a heater/A/C unit in the room. The windows looked new. We had a view of La Rambla. The breakfast was very nice. There were options of ceral, toast, meats, cheeses, hard boiled eggs, scrambled eggs, juice, water, coffee, fresh fruit. The staff was very efficient and caring. There was a new updated outlet for USB port and other country system. The TV was nice, however, the chanels were limited to Europe mostly.
