Hotel was in an excellent location to La Ramblas, Metro statin just a minute walk from the hotel. But as the hotel is on the very busy road it was very noisy. I hardly slept more then 4 hours in one night. As the hotel had heating on and NO AC it was too hot in our room as it...

We arrived at our extremely hot room and the air conditioning wasn't working this time of year they said. The only way to cool down the room was to open the windows, on a busy road-> no sleep at all. I asked for a room with multiple windows on a corner, this wasn't an option. It isn't dirty or anything...

I was here for two nights with my mother at the end of a week's cruise. The location is fantastic right between the Gothic and El Born districts. We were initially rather disappointed as our agent had switched hotels at the last moment without telling us, from another hotel down the road. We had asked for a high room facing...

We stayed there for three nights. The first room was on the 6th floor. It was small. It had no view. The blinds were broken . The plumbing for the bidet needed fixing. They then moved us to the 4th floor. We got hot water only 50% of the time. They shut the water supply for 3 hours in the...

Perfect location for a long weekend just such a shame the accommodation and staff let it down with their less than lacklustre attitude, was told when asked if we could change rooms as it was very small that it wasn't the smallest but the second smallest that the hotel had. We requested an iron which failed to appear, basically staff...

I will start with the positive...This hotel is is a superb location in the Gothic area and across the street from the Born area. Close to the Cathedral, Santa Maria Del Mar, Transit, The Rambla, Temple of Augustus, and many restaurants and shops. This hotel otherwise is the most disgusting hotel that I have ever stayed in! Our room rate...

The hotel has a great location, but that's it. The room was small and cramped by clunky furniture; there was only one bedside light; the only electic socket for charging a phone was under the desk and difficult to get to; the fan in the bathroom did not work; much of the woodwork and the shower lining was grubby; the...

I use a power wheelchair and therefore looked for an accessible room suitable for for my needs. I corresponded in email to make sure the room is suitable and asked whether it's big enough for getting around with a wheelchair. They assured me that the accessible room is one of the largest in the hotel and the customers who has...

This place provides the visitor with access to local Metro, bus and taxi services outside the door. It is a few steps away from the centre area of historical Barcelona with its bustling side streets, tapas bars and a wide variety of shopping experiences. The hotel provides lift and dining, bar fridge and tea coffee making as well as quality...

Neighborhood Profile
Barrio Gotico (Barri Gotic)
With its iconic, old-Europe streets and alleys, this picturesque neighborhood is the very heart of Barcelona. It blends historic artifacts from its days under Roman dominion up through the Spanish Civil War with a vibrant modern-day culture of artisan shops and authentic culinary experiences. Avid explorers will be thrilled to discover quaint terraces and plazas brought to life by the many small bars and local musicians lasting late into the night. Fashionistas will be drawn to Portal de L’Angel, which is lined with well-known brand names and smaller boutique stands.
