Good hotel for weekend break. You can walk to the main Street but you can also use metro. We brought a 3 day ticket which also got us to and from airport. Quiet area but a few bars, coffee shops close by. Nice bar for a glass of wine without being over charged. They have a terrace which we didn't...

We had a fantastic stay at this lovely Art Deco inspired boutique style hotel in the Eixample district. Lovely rooms, friendly and approachable staff. Breakfast plentiful. The rooms are modern and clean we had two bathrooms for three people, the rooms have windows that look out internally but this is good as it's nice and quiet and you get a...

We really enjoyed our stay from the moment we walked in the door. What a lovely hotel with the art deco decor. Having the library to sit and read the paper and swap some books over was also great, with big comfy sofas. The in-room tea and coffee was also a wonderful treat where most hotels in Spain don't have...

Great hotel, tastefully decorated. Attentive and helpful staff. Great roof top terrace. Would come back again. Bed a little hard, but it's doesn't matter. Balcony is lovely watching the hustle and bustle of the city. Close to most amenities and near to most tourists attractions, or public transportation is close and very good. Great taxi service. Hopefully see you again...

I had 4 days holiday with my 15-year old son and this hotel choise was perfect. Just short walk from metro station and few blocks from the main shopping street. And still quite close to all interesting places we wanted to see (Camp Nou, Fontanella Magica, Sagrada Famiglia, beach etc.) Area was beautiful and quiet - totally opposite than La...

Overall it was an ok stay. We had to constantly ask for extra towels from hotel staff and did not receive them until the last night we stayed there. We received a nice clean room on the 7th floor with a nice balcony and view of the city. The room is pretty small but was ok for me and my...

Staying in Eixample

Neighborhood Profile
Eixample
Passing through the glorious Plaça Catalunya, you enter the newer city district of Eixample, literally translated as “extension,” which immediately becomes recognizable by its more spacious streets and elegant atmosphere. The main artery of this sizable district, Passeig de Gracia, is lined with high-end international designer stores. Not to be outdone, the glitz and glamour of this zone is perhaps best exemplified by the comfortable and lavish five-star hotels that flank the divine and modernistic buildings from some of the world’s most recognized architects such as Gaudi and Montaner.
