The room was really disappointing. I was expecting a nice and sunny (or at least bright) room and I received a dark room looking to the elevator shaft. During the evening and the night we were listening the elevator and the air-condition system. We had a private bathroom as it’s offered on the website but it was on the other... More

Great B&B made great by Karla who works there. Rooms adequate with en-suites and air-conditioning. Breakfast serve yourself with good coffee and company in a casual kitchen which makes you feel relaxed. Karla very helpful with information on buses and metro, where to visit and best places to eat. Very good location for public transport, bars and restaurants.

The location is good, nice and comfortable bedroom and friendly helpful staff especially the woman here at the breakfast... don't know her name! and very good breakfast too included in the price of the room. I stayed at Casa Maca with my mother a few weeks ago and found the rooms to be really nice for the price. The services are limited since the guest house is not always staffed, but they're available to meet you at check in, serve breakfast, and clean the rooms. We loved it enough to try to join for a... I've stayed here many times due to my job. Service is very good, helpful. I would highly recommend staying at this place for any reason. My room had a small balcony and I had the option to open the window and have a nice break. Obviously it's a big city and many cars and people pass by as it's the... More

Our room at Casa Maca was very nice, and to be fair I would rate it higher than an average, but not a very good rating. Location was good, but found it to be noisy with both inside and outside noise. Didn't like not being able to sit outside in the patio anytime of the day. We also stayed at... More

The rooms are nice but it would be good if you had access to the kitchen and courtyard all day. Beds are very comfy though and nicely decorated, bathrooms are clean and the whole place is cleaned every morning.

The best thing of this place is the location. It is very central, walking distance to Sagrada Familia, main shopping streets, etc. The breakfast is OK, although I missed more healthy options (fresh fruits, unsweetened yogurts and cereals, etc). The rooms are nice but they do not have AC, which make difficult to sleep during summer or to stay there... More

Booked this hotel looking for a quiet place to get work done for a few days while I was staying over in Barcelona. Staying in Eixample

Neighborhood Profile
Eixample
Passing through the glorious Plaça Catalunya, you enter the newer city district of Eixample, literally translated as “extension,” which immediately becomes recognizable by its more spacious streets and elegant atmosphere. The main artery of this sizable district, Passeig de Gracia, is lined with high-end international designer stores. Not to be outdone, the glitz and glamour of this zone is perhaps best exemplified by the comfortable and lavish five-star hotels that flank the divine and modernistic buildings from some of the world’s most recognized architects such as Gaudi and Montaner.
