Stayed for 2 nights in family room. Nice room, compact and clean. Small courtyard. Lockers for luggage (euro coin, returned). Staff really helpful. Good free wifi. Excellent location, everything nearby. Would definitely book again for weekend break. Only thing missing is a pool when its really hot! But not essential.

My family and I stayed in this hotel for one night in a family room. We found it to be clean and reasonably well equipped (including an in-room safe), with a great location close to Ramblas and friendly, helpful staff. The room wasn't the biggest but it was absolutely fine for my family (4 of us) for a night. It...

This hotel was in an excellent location just off the La Ramblas. The room was quite small but comfortable. Breakfast was excellent. We were quite surprised that there was no fridge in the room considering it had recently been refurbished. When we asked at reception we were told that none of the rooms had a fridge.

The hotel is located just metres from the La Ramblas - the hustle and bustle street of Barcelona. Very easy to locate and close to a lot of amenities such as a laundromat, tapas bars (Bar Lobo is a MUST for decadent tapas!), local pharmacy and supermarket. I cant say enough how convenient the location is. Our room was very...

This hotel is a gem, it represents great value in an amazing location just off the Main Street that runs through Barcelona. There are fantastic restaurants and cafes on your doorstep as well as great shopping. The rooms are clean, small but perfectly formed and functional. My husband and I stayed there for 4 nights and had a room with...

Just returned. Stayed for 4 nights. Lovely clean and modern rooms, enough space for a city break with a powerful shower. Breakfast very good with a nice selection of hot and cold food, coffee, juices, bread and cakes. Great service from all staff, always greeted by everyone. The best part is the location, it is literally a minute walk to...

The Hotel is conveniently located right off Las Ramblas. If you arrive early there are lockers off the lobby to store your luggage. The rooms are spacious and comfortable. The breakfast buffet was excellent, with a large array of offerings. You can eat heartily and have a light lunch. For the price, the amenities and the facility are a great...

Only 2 mins walk from La Rambla, upper end. Still no noise, as it lies in a narrow one-way street off the Rambla. Very helpful staff, and wait till you see the breakfast selection. We were amazed, the price considered. Everything within walking distance, inlcuding the beach! Bus no 59 runs every 10 mins from La Rambla to the beach...

Staying in El Raval

Neighborhood Profile
El Raval
Once a downtrodden corner of downtown Barcelona, this gritty area has seen a cultural resurgence boasting an excellent nightlife and one of the most multi ethnic spots in the entire city. A sense of humble authenticity protrudes from the many independent record stores, second hand shops, and student bars that seem to light up the streets day and night. The rocking epicenter, the MACBA Plaça, is a modern day forum for bohemian youth, abuzz with the sights and sounds of late-night gatherings and talented skateboarders showing off their latest tricks.
