As a group we had two apartments and a 4 bed room with private bathroom, all rooms were clean and comfortable and very spacious, the apartments were lovely with everything you could need. Brilliant balcony areas which gave you a nice breeze in the hot weather. Las Ramblas is only a short walk and the hotel was in a nice... More

We stayed for two nights and have nothing to complain about. The property is close to everything and we were able to reach many major attractions by foot. The hotel is very well-kept with very very accommodating staff. They were so helpful in providing all the answers to all of our questions. Highly recommended!

I really liked this guesthouse but would recommend that other guests bring ear plugs. The place can be quite noisy at night due to the beautiful yet big and heavy doors throughout that make a loud bang when not closed carefully, and old noisy elevator. I was woken by all of this before 6am each morning. Other than this, enjoyed... More

I really enjoyed staying here for a few nights. It is a hostel, but has some private room with private bathrooms. There is no daily maid service, but the rooms are very well kept and clean, with modern bathrooms. There is a communal room with a kitchen so you can prepare food, and a light breakfast is included and perfect... More

very friendly - though from down under. decent rooms, there is a communal room with kitchen facilities - which I did not use but might be great for families with children. And one very modern aspect: NO TV in the rooms - perfect :-)

My wife and I have been travelling Europe for over a month and have become tired of staying in the hotel style places or the ones that falsely advertise. This place is a blast from the past but in a great way. The inside of the building is absolutely stunning, high ceilings, large doors, plenty of wood and plaster and... More

Staying in Eixample

Neighborhood Profile
Eixample
Passing through the glorious Plaça Catalunya, you enter the newer city district of Eixample, literally translated as “extension,” which immediately becomes recognizable by its more spacious streets and elegant atmosphere. The main artery of this sizable district, Passeig de Gracia, is lined with high-end international designer stores. Not to be outdone, the glitz and glamour of this zone is perhaps best exemplified by the comfortable and lavish five-star hotels that flank the divine and modernistic buildings from some of the world’s most recognized architects such as Gaudi and Montaner.
